| Do any guys actually get a lot of messages on here?

Those are all blocked. I think the limit is 5 cut and paste messages per day. | |

One woman was obviously just being polite and she didn't really seem to be responding to what i was saying. One was completely not what I was looking for, and the other was interesting and nice but not a great match and I got side tracked with responses from a different site where women actually send me messages (even without me sending them one first), so I sort of dropped the ball there.
To me this site is more of a forum than a dating site. | |

Posted: 2/1/2006 10:06:19 AM | Get plenty of e-mail and more than enough "first meetings." I very rarely write women first anymore. Instead I hang out in the forums and wait for women to write me. Funny thing is, none of the women in my area tend to use the forums, yet they're the ones who write.
Honestly though, even if I never got any coffee dates I'd still hang out just for the forums. | |

Posted: 2/1/2006 10:11:45 AM | The first two months on here I couldn't even get a nibble, then since New Year's I've actually received a few messages a week from ladies making the first contact. It's a welcome change, though sadly I'm not attracted to most of the women that have contacted me thus far, but at least it's a start! 
Now I just keep my eyes posted for attractive new fish as they tend to be easier to reach before they become several hundred men's favorite and my messages are lost amongst the deluge of cheap come-ons...   | |

I shut down the page with my pics on it...and now am much happier without the pics ! I think most men should be grateful for notes, however, be careful of what you wish for. I found that men asking me out on dates repeatedly on the first few notes and constantly wanting my phone number...and SWEARING AND YELLING at me for not giving them the time of day, was ENOUGH FOR ME! So, the solution is : NO PICS, NO HASSLE :) | |
