And another regular mail-contact on my initiative.
And a few replies on messages.
If you count them, it's not much.
But I've found two realy nice new friends and THAT IS A LOT!!!!
I go for the quality, not the quantity.

However I have sent out probably at least 20 messages (many of them replies but some I initiated) and several of the guys I have sent a message to did not respond.

Posted: 10/4/2004 6:47:56 PM | Well, actually I have recieved quite a bit of emails with women wanting to chat with me or call me up. I have had.. lemme see here.. I would say close to 13 emails regarding women in the area wanting to talk with me or meet up with me. So I would have to say that I am gettin' more messages than with other sites. Each of them have been different person also. Sometimes its hard for me to keep track of who is emailing me.. 
Its fun though, all of these gals are beautiful and they are lookin for friends or more. So I guess I'm in the luck at the moment. Hope you all have as good luck with the messages as I have, and keep em cumin!   | |

Is there that many that havent logged in since then or are they fakes to attract people to sign up?

Ive messaged ppl out of the blue and had pretty good luck at getting replys. But the gig is... dont message ppl and say stupid sh*t. i think you meant "do women make the first move and contact you after reading your profile?" i've had just two of those. responded to one and she never contacted me back. the other and i chat occasionally. it's just not going to happen in the main. you need to make the first move.
some responses seem to think you mean just overall messages. in that case, i agree completely with crossfade. since i got involved in these forums, i've had a lot of messaging going back and forth - mostly just chit-chat stuff, surface-level, nothing serious. | |

Rarely does any female make the first move. They are expecting us guys to do that... Then when we do they weed out who they want to respond too and ignore the rest. That's at least my take on the issue.
I'm still waiting for my first romantic interest mail or romantic interest reply. Hopefully someone is having better luck than me. I just come to the forums to learn and improve myself. I really don't think I'll ever find a cute woman who is decent and is interested in me on such websites. I feel the best ones are still out there in the real world and have no need of such things as a website to find a man... But that's only my $.02 | |
