Posted: 9/18/2005 7:04:46 PM | Same here..I get tons of emails but I send alot also...and you have to want to do this and hoping to find mr. or mrs. smith if you know what I mean...you may find them or you may never...whatever you do ..never take online stuff personally.
It might take 200 emails before the one clicks.

Really what this site is is simply a chat forum and message board, period. Is mind boggling how many people spend a month or even year and only get one or two or a handful of messages. The chances of meeting someone in a bar are almost guaranteed within two weeks. Like I say, this site is a message board and forum for people to chat, that's all. | |

Then the serious, sencere guys could have a chance of getting noticed.

Posted: 1/31/2006 12:50:29 PM | I send out about 4-5 messages a day and get back about the same number. The messages are normally to friends or people that actively post in the forum. I do very few intro type e-mails on a weekly basis, perhaps 1 or 2 and I normally get back responses to them too.
The trick is to be very selective and then very pointed in your e-mail. Being creative, funny, warm and non-threatening also helps. | |
