Posted: 5/25/2008 6:42:57 AM | go to bleepingcomputer.com down load hijack this and then go back to the forums on bleeping computer.com read the instructions on how to use the program (forum users will help you as long as you read the innical instrucitons) it will 100% get rid of any malware key loggets etc on any computer. you'll then want to secure your network by going in to your router commonly 192.168.1.0 or 192.168.1.1 running the set up adding a "mac" filter by adding your mother board's lan mac address printed on the board.
as well as a Hex or higher encription on wireless routers
these steps will stop any non-hacker type from getting in to your system.
other steps you may want to do are use AVG antivirus and internet security
use only uptodate browsers ie Firefox sefari etc
or simply purchace a mac LOL gets window's users everytime!
it's sad that people do such things! | |

Posted: 6/2/2008 1:29:36 PM | There are many ways he could get your password and like Badman1st said it could easily be done via keylogger.
If you two shared a computer together he could have installed one of those monitoring software programs similar to programs that parents use to monitor their kids online activities such as Netnanny.
So it could easily be a program similar to that where everything you are doing on that computer is being sent to his email address so that way he can monitor and see what you type and what sites you visit.
He could also somehow hacking into your IP address and other methods. I would suggest you get Spyware terminator get spyware and trojans off your computer and also you can see what unknown programs maybe on your computer that you can't see with windows explorer and other programs. | |
