| What do you deem as a slut/slag/scrubber etc
Posted: 5/23/2008 1:53:06 AM | I call myself a 'slaggy housewife' all the time, not in the sense that I have sex with all and sundry, more that I am pretty useless at keeping my house clean & tidy and I dont think Ive picked up an iron for about 4 years!!!!
So I would guess that the term 'slag' comes from being dirty, useless, lazy etc, bit like the way it is used in metal welding....
Slut is a bit of a provocative term, it automatically brings up images of burlesque style 'wenches' in those old wild west style saloon pubs! lol.. Maybe thats just me?
How does that old saying go? The ideal woman is a slut in the bedroom, and a great cook, and an obedient wife?? Oh i forget but its something like that, so I dont think I'd be hugely offended if somone called me a slut on jokey terms, but if its said in an offensive way I'd be unhappy!! lol Probably retort back with summat like 'Rather that than a frigid **** like u!!!' 
I think they are out dated terms, nowadays women should be able to go out & have as much sex as they want so long as its between consenting adults and no one gets hurt.. and its safe.... IMO... Men have been doing this for centuries without anyone batting an eyelid..
As for people who have sex with attached people, then in my book they are just dishonest, filthy, home wreckers.... end of... lol.... Ooooh not at all judgemental am I ?!!  | |

As others have said, it's completely wrong to label people and I'd never call any woman names like that, maybe scrubber because that to me means someone common, ignorant and hateful - in fact the very sort of woman who would call another woman names out of spite, a woman who has no class at all. | |

Small minded..pathetic to judge anyone on how many partners they have had or how they want to lead their sex lives.
i have issue over how people treat other people..not how many times a man or woman drops their knickers lol

This is by a forumite...In about the third or fourth mail since I asked him not to bother me again. In the reply to that message from me he said "and you don't message me..." He has only sent me two more. Tw@t.
Still he assures me he is going to block me, so can anyone confirm this means he will not be able to message me again.
Personally I feel that to avoid the small minded who like to label people, it is best to keep ones private life private. Gossip seldom enhances anyones reputation. | |

I wasn't aware calling a woman a slut was derogatory in an case. Ive always had a great reaction whenever Ive paid that compliment in the bedroom.
We still have the double standards... no matter how many people claim we haven't

Sod it - if they're practicing some kind of safe sex (and I don't mean giving a false name and phone number) then why the hell not? Men have been doing it for years - if a gal wants to carve away her bedpost one notch at a time, it's her business and no one elses... we should be less concerned, I think, with what goes on in other people's bedrooms. | |

Eventually if she plays her cards right will graduate to hussy, if she's real good she'll make it to brazen hussy right before it's time to collect her bus pass and become an "old bag who wears purple".
To be a brazen hussy is the prize.

Everybody called her a tart , not just me ! The reason had nothing to do with her morals or lack of but her surname was Bakewell. As for her turning me down.... you obviously didn't hear about the bike shed afterwards when I rode her home [none-handed] As for calling me spotty .... slut= someone who doesnt care who it is as long as they get their legover (again male or female)
slag= someone who will do anything for someone of the opposite sex to get validation. ie cybersex, dirty cam chats, meet for just sex. gives them a feeling of popularity.
scrubber = someone who doesnt care who they sleep with, doesnt take precautions ie condoms and passes disease.
well thats my definitions anyways. | |

I believe that slag is some kind of rock - small pebbles or something, a scrubber being what you use for the washing up, but a slut is just a slut! And the ones that use it as a derrogatory term have either been turned down by one or is jealous of one. | |

That is sooo picky susi, true but picky

All words used by insecure people in order to put others down.......it's something most grow out of by their 20's
I've never used any of those words to describe anyone although I do use the word 'tart' in a loving way simply because it's funny | |
