| Booming car stereo systems... Posted: 6/2/2008 3:45:57 PM | | I cannot understand turning a car stereo up to such a volume that it drowns out everything. I don't believe the type of music is important. I love music. I'm an ex-professional rock musician. I love music,at times, very loud...but NOT in my car. I love reclining in a chair,or on the floor, listening with eyes closed. You cannot relax this much while driving. In your car,the music should be background music...it should never take away any of your concentration. | |

So, who has the "last" word on this subject since it is now a "moot" point? | |

| Booming car stereo systems... Posted: 6/4/2008 10:52:21 PM | Personally I call that selfish. I do NOT want to hear bad rap, rnb, trance, disco, techno and the like cranked up loud so that EVERYONE can hear it. Not everyone likes their music, simple. Same goes for people who turn their music up so loud on their ear/headphones on the bus and I end up having to listen to their crap music for the rest of the journey (duration- 1 hour). I don't turn my music up so everyone suffers listening to my classical or pop music... I'm surprised they haven't damaged their ear drms yet... O_o | |
