I attended the Pontefract meet last night and gave another POF member a lift. I am happy to extend the hand again so if anyone is close to Elland Road I can pick them up.

Posted: 6/13/2008 5:38:59 PM | if this meet is owt compared with last one i was on in leeds town centre at valentines then OMG..... i even missd my m-bike test nxt mornin too hungover hehe, awsum nite was had by all. ive even been on hols to egypt with 2 pof members... as freinds of course lol. i live about 5 mins away but dont know if i am gunna turn up.. will av to see wat mood im in tomoz nite,, but i love a gd old karaoke blast ,, exercise the old lungs a lil. coff splutter ,, tosses cig away.anyway if i dont im sure you lot will av a blast... oh n b careful up in holt park ladies , make sure you are in twos ect late at nite.... can be a bit dodgy up ther...ull b safe but treat it as you wud any other place late at nite.. av fun all or see u ther .. IF I GO... tosses A COIN shall i shant i hmmmm

well - thanks to all those who turned up - those who stayed had a good night although it took a while to liven up - apologies for the dj - i booked it through an agency  wont do that again - he had the gear just didnt know how to set up the sound lol
BUT - where were the rest of you ? especially some of the ladies - early in the night there were loads of guys an hardly any dolls!!!!!!! - so the guys went home come on girls - we can do better than this surely?
Also the venue were told lots of peeps would be there and catered for it accordingly - egg on face time after i told the licencee how packed it was gonna be | |

Turned up last night with a friend who isn't a fellow fish member.
To be honest it was a bit of a disappointment. The 3 things that stuck out:
1 - My only other meet had someone meeting members on the way in and sticking their names on them. That was a nice ice-breaker.
2 - The sound was very, very, very bad. With a new DJ that should improve.
3 - A lot of the people who had signed up did not turn up. For example, there were about half a dozen very young ladies signed up that I didn't spot. Not that I was lookijg for them as I expected them not to be there. I just think that realistically a lot of people who sign up will cry off at the last minute.
This is just my opinion but still thanks for the organisers making the evening ahppen.
Hopefully see some of you at the Pontefract do in 2 weeks.

Unfortunately i was unable to attend the Leeds meet. Because it is too far away from where i live.
Hope that everyone had a good time that did attend. I guess Peter Pan wasn't a happy bunny.. .! Well you can't please everyone.
I am going to Pontefract meet 28th which was great fun last month. Which was my first meet there. It is good that you can stay overnight at the venue too.
