called Happy-Go-Lucky it tells the story of a primary school teacher whose infectious nature touches all those around her.
I get told on a daily basis i have exactly the same effect on "most" people.
The minority see me as an annoying shit who is always smiling and cheering people up because they don't want to be cheered up and prefer to be misery guts.
Sucks to be them.
I do agree that in more recent times newspapers have played on the omg we're doomed factor, its propaganda and scare mongering, ok so fuel is hiked. we don't like it, we may have to cut back, but is it really ruining our lives? nope!
We get on with it. do high fuel prices stop you smiling when you see a child giggling ? does it stop you smiling when you have some good luck? does it stop you when you find that perfect person who completes you? theyre just undermining our inner well being.
newspapers are just there to make money. | |

Posted: 7/12/2008 12:19:18 PM | How happy am i? Reasonably at the minute. You have to find and do the things that make you really happy, quite often. Life is good, work is good, being single is a bit of a drag now though.
I think that more and more people these days dwell on the unhappy things and maybe enjoy sympathy from others a bit too much. | |
