Posted: 6/2/2008 3:17:35 AM | UMMM I don't want to alarm anyone but seeing as this event seems to be very popular I thought I better ring the restaurant to make sure we can fit. It seems the maximum you can book for is 30 people, I am not sure if we can make two seperate bookings maybe one under Mainey and one under POF? There is 3 weeks until this event and I am thinking it might get close to 50 by time the event comes around.
Another possible idea would be to have two groups for dinner one who would go to cactus jacks and one to go to hogs breath or sizzler or any of the other restaurants in the same complex and meet everybody at front of gilhooleys at a certain time? I would much rather get us all in to cactus jacks, I am just trying to iron out any possible problems.
Any suggestions/ ideas/ questions? | |

You are just a legend Mainey what a successful idea you had You go girl I think Sizzlers might get a bit pissed if we start dancing on their table but  Might have to wait till we get to the pub and turn the place into C Ugly LOL | |

Posted: 6/2/2008 5:07:25 AM | Reminds me of a time My mate and I drove up from Dallas TX to St Louis for a race meeting. We met some bar staff from the Ruby Tuesday where we had dinner and they took us up to a little place called JR Ducks......My mate decided to get up and dance on the table, but made the fatal mistake of not checking out what was above the table and stuck his head straight into the ceiling fan.....LOL......He ended up on the floor horizontal instead of the table dancing.....
We got kicked out at 4am, and had to be at the track to strip an engine at 6am.....ouch!!

Mainey this is a suggestion from Pete , for all the people that went to the camping trip, they could bring their camping chairs to the resterant that way we can all fit in.... We can also bring paper plates and hand them to the chef.
How does that sound...............

Sizzlers is so crap even Pete agrees and he eats anything and anywhere.
Pete said stay with Cactus Jacks as it has good food and good atmosphere............
