Posted: 5/30/2008 5:14:19 PM | I know the person that was stabbed if your talking about the one on furby, it is pretty sad.
It was 3 people over 40 who did it to get his shoes and his money and jacket. The man stabbed is still in the hospital in touch and go condition and is going to be there a long time because we can't afford proper protection in the area's that are the worst.
i wish it was possible to make it so that there were no weapons to use, but would you register every butter and steak knife in your home?
the sad truth is that this problem is going to continue to exist and possibly get worse when we have no way to keep the streets clean without the manpower to do it. | |

Posted: 5/31/2008 5:57:33 PM | No politician can stop or prevent murder but what they can do save the kids from the smoke, and yes i argee with them and will stand by them ,, I am a ex smoker and did my home work cancer. ca and smoking with kids in car ,,, as for knives and guns,,,, my question is again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, WHERE ARE THE PARENTS! hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm wonder?

We all know how the federal gun registry prevents people from shooting others, should be a no-brainer to enact the same sort of registration for knives;

Too bad the people in power can't figure out that criminals won't obet the laws. How many people shot were shot by properly registered firearms?
Bureaucratic cause & effect :
1) criminals are shooting people
2) let's have non-criminals register their weapons at a huge expense to the government, and lie about how much it's costing
3) problem solved
Like the moron politician in Toronto a few months ago, after there was a nasty shooting incident by a criminal wielding a handgun.
"Let's have a total ban on handguns!!!!" Of course, the criminal was using an illegal unregistered weapon, so such a ban would have no effect. And they call BC lotus-land
