You certainly don't need a posh accent Big G but everyone needs to be aware that the night will be what they make it. Its quite a cosy venue so just get to the bar, buy a drink and then start mingling...everyone is there to chat to others so take the opportunity to make the most of this singles event

I would like to encourage more older gentlemen to come along as they seem a bit nervous of meeting all these lovely ladies face to face. So stop hiding behind your pc's and get into the real world where you will see we 're not all piranas and you can prove that not all men are octopuses!!!!
Im bringing 6 over 50 year olds!!!!! who act like theyre only 30!!!
Just think of it as an ordinary night at the pub where you just happen to know a lot of the faces! (or fishes)

you need lots of stickers and a thick marker pen. and also a list of famous couples.
holmer and marge, david and victoria beck, peter and kate. laural and hardy,starsky and hutch,etc
for example.. put holmer on 1 sticker and madge on another and so on.
on your way in the bar, the host would put a sticker with a name on each persons back, the person not knowing who he or she is. NO CHEATING. and only through mingling and asking everyone questions about who they are, is the only way to find out who theyre other half is. tricky part is, that any questions asked must only be answered with either a yes or a no. for example. am i rich? "no" am i funny?"yes"am i old?"yes" am i a real person?"no"bla bla bla.
that game would be a good one to help people mix. not sure about the prize though. any sugestions? | |

Liking the sticker game although who's gonna bring the stickers. I'll get the ones sorted for everyones name so don't forget on the night to use your POF name so people can look you up afterwards if they are too shy or busy on the night!
Not long to go now and good crowd signed up but I reckon by Saturday we'll be over the 100 so should have plenty room to mingle. Don't be shy....sign up and come along...bring your mates and we will all have a great time.
