| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/7/2011 6:21:01 AM | | If you think 45 might be "too old" to be the bait, what about 50? Or 55? Even though the kid was stupid and insensitive, why get stupid with him? I'd let him know about it and want to find out why he felt you're "too old." Too old for what? Love? Love-making? Friendship? A relationship? I bet he can't answer the question except by the unwarranted instinct that he's 20 something and you're 40 something. | |

| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/8/2011 1:52:40 PM | Heck.. None are " too old for this pond ".. But when I see a photo of a gal " lookin to date " and she is surrounded by a bunch of rug-rats and states that " her kids are the most important thing to her '.. I avoid her like the plague......!! Heck.. If your "kids" are that important to you.. Let THEM support you, love you, protect you, provide for your happiness & well being, and marry you...!! Cripes... When I take on the responsibility of a mate to love, honor, cherish, comfort, support & protect.. she D A M N well BETTER put ME " first in HER life ".. Nuf said... Now I'm outta here before the "whiners" , "have nots", and "losers" start with their "excuses" and "reasons" they should not have to suffer for the bad choices THEY made in THEIR life.. \\\- DigitalDog --/// | |

| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/9/2011 10:03:24 AM | | I just turned 60...it makes me cringe in disbelief. But I do find that the older I get, the more invisible I am to the opposite sex. That's kinda depressing. And I'm not even an old 60...I still work 2 jobs, walk my dog, ride my horses. I do miss being younger though. | |

As far as 'age' is concerned... When I'm too 'old' to be here, I won't be able to read the screen!!

| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/10/2011 6:29:08 PM | There is a fish out there to be caught....if you are searching in the right water, and have the right bait on the end of the right line and rod, you will catch your fish. Age has nothing to do with it. All the younger generation wants is a one night stand with a greek god or godess. Everybody has a birthday each year.....their time will come. | |

He went on to ask why a person my age would actually be fishing. I was really at a loss for how to respond to such a rude question so I just blocked him from further messages.
I would respond and say some REAL LIFE LIVING would be in order and then block. It's one of the reasons my profile is not up for public viewing most of the time. I always question why they are looking at profiles so obviously out of their age range. As others have mentioned, once he has lived life, grown up, experienced a few hard knocks, raised a family...he would never need to ask such ridiculous questions again. It's the 21st century. Some of us keep up with the times...it's why we are on here...some of us also live life beyond the computer...he needs to... | |

| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/12/2011 11:47:08 AM | I feel like I am too old to fish in this pond or any other pond. But, like an old fisherman, I fish for the fun of it. Don't really care if I catch anything or not. I just like to fish.

...Woman look at you differently cause you're English...in truth they're probably think the accent is cute.
There are lots of females on here who are looking for the same things you are...but you're going to have to be patient...dating sites are not for the weak. Stay positive.

| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/17/2011 8:25:50 AM | Would it not depend on what you are here for????? ..............
If you are here to start a family, and you are in your 50's, 60's and higher, maybe not...................but if you are here for a connection of people that just might share some of the same things you share, and want some of the same things you want.....again, age should not and would not be a factor!!

| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/17/2011 1:04:20 PM | | You are never too old until you believe you are too old. Dating, relationships and sex may all be different as we age, but most people are amazingly adaptable when we want to be. | |

| Too old to be in this pond? Posted: 10/17/2011 10:30:47 PM | | I am sure glad my sweetheart didn't think he was too old to be here. I was mainly here for the forums and gave up a long time ago that I'd ever find anyone around here. He makes me so happy and he found me here in this old pond! | |
