You may even find that another member has the answer to your question, and can post it, as in "where do I look for a room?"
To answer your question about the venue, there is no seperate room, but the volume is watched by the venue and even though it is loud enough to make your feet tap and find yourself on the floor dancing, it is never so loud that you can not hear people talking and hold a conversation.
If for any reason you can not hear, the smoking area is not far away and I believe a bar next door if you really hit it off and want to have a quiet chat for a while.
Midnightfox in response to your request to a pre-meeting, katski who has signed up is from Coventry and maybe you could message her and arrange a meet up between you, I might even join you with a friend when I have sorted out my prior arrangements.

Posted: 6/30/2008 8:18:41 AM | For those who want to pre-meet there are a couple of nice bars actually in Preston Street, one is called Medusa, very chilled out with nice cushions and music, and on the other side of the road is a posh pub which I think is called the Prince Regent - it has a nice terrace at the back. There is one you may want to avoid called something like RTD which has scantily clad women dancing on the bar, Coyote Ugly style, but then again that may be your thing. If you are looking for bnb or hotel I suggest you try www.yell.com, type in bed and breakfast in brighton (and hove too). Or you should be able to find a reasonable hotel on lastminute.com or ebookers.com. Good luck  | |

hopefully you will find somewhere i have had as many as 20 staying at mine after a pof meet when i lived in a bigger place but no more room in my ickle flat now  | |
