| Does it matter to you which side of the bed you or your lover sleeps on??? Posted: 6/2/2008 7:47:27 PM | Typically that isnt something you think about it just sort of happens. I know personally as long as I am cuddled up with that special someone with his arms wrapped tightly around me I could careless what side of the bed I sleep on. I just count my blessings I am able to share that good nights sleep with him.
There is nothing better than the sleep you get when cuddled up in a pair of caring arms.

Maybe POF should have a box to check in the profile section of which side a person sleeps on. Beth, I think you're on to something here. Surely that is more important than if we have cars or not. After all, we can always walk but we sleep every night.
Beth, that's not luck, that's timing.

| Does it matter to you which side of the bed you or your lover sleeps on??? Posted: 6/3/2008 11:55:47 PM | | I actually have to switch sides of the bed routinely because of balancing my alignment. I sleep on my side, so if I sleep on my one side too long then my alignment gets wonky. I'm supposed to sleep on my back but I can't sleep when I do such, so I switch sides every month or so. My boyfriend doesn't mind. | |

| Does it matter to you which side of the bed you or your lover sleeps on??? Posted: 7/21/2008 6:02:59 AM | I can sleep on either (I’m ambidextrous) but sleep on the left side of my bed when I’m alone (conditioning?).
I never had to ask my partner but in many cases they told me that they get the right side as soon as we got to the bedroom.
Now that I think about it all of my SOs slept on the right side of the bed. It’s such a majority I have to wonder how I “sense” this about them. Ceij

Posted: 7/21/2008 11:07:24 PM | I don't know where the habit came from, but I always prefer to sleep on the side of the bed closest to the door, that way an intruder or unwanted guest has to go through me first. In the event that the sheets are not properly conceiling something, my body also blocks any view beyond me as well. I won't squabble over it, but it's what a prefer.

| Does it matter to you which side of the bed you or your lover sleeps on??? Posted: 9/4/2008 11:58:21 AM | I find that usually men like the side toward the door. Men are protective and like to be able to defend if an intruder is there. I use to travel and my Ex always wanted by the door. Some people have a side preference. Try asking. I bet your partner will tell you. Or if you are particular, just say I usually sleep on this side of the bed, okay with you. Talk to each other people, talk. These are just the small stuff. In the beginning I doubt it matters much... you meet in the middle and have a body party. | |
