He is campainging on change.
He wants to win. I didn't use to think he would, or that she would accept. For party unity- her supporters-swing states he really needs her. Either on the ticket or firmly behind him. His supporters will forgive anything he does, even if she were on the ticket. For Her supporters she has to be on the ticket.

| Should Obama choose a woman to run as VP? Posted: 6/3/2008 12:55:01 PM | Yet as every day passes we realize he is less and less about actual change than he would have had us all believe. Turns out he's a politician, just about like everybody else, one with lots of skeletons in his closet, and all that stump-work, and all those signs, were just that. Stump-work and pretty, printed words, on colorful signs.
It'll still be awfully good to dump Bush and Cheney though, in any case.

Overcoming the preduice against his being black was bad enough.
Too much predjuice against women for him to win. He needs a nice ethinic balance: I think he should chose Father Pfleger as his running mate.

Now he needs a job -- so why not hire him? Also show that Osama is sincere in his interest in helping suffering Americans.

| Should Obama choose a woman to run as VP? Posted: 6/3/2008 3:38:55 PM | Funny that the catholic church wants Father Pfleger out NOW but did they ever send the same signal to those priests that were sexually abusing boys? Yeahhhh ummmmm no?? Those belonging to that group were literally shuffled around for decades......and thousands of victims suffered...... My first guess for Obama's running mate is Edwards.......just a hunch. There's a number of us too that have thought about the Obama/Clinton combination. It would be interesting to watch him put that to work... | |

| Should Obama choose a woman to run as VP? Posted: 6/3/2008 4:15:18 PM | | Ya...I think we need to remember the rally in Grand Rapids MI when Edwards came here and announced his endorsement. No other superdelegate save Richardson (to my knowledge anyway) has been secretly flown in, and made such a big deal out of their endorsement. I think they were up to something bigger there. | |

Seriously, Obama will choose Clinton. It's his only shot in h$ll to survive a bloodbath w/McCain. If he doesn't, I'll start referring to him as "short bus".

| Should Obama choose a woman to run as VP? Posted: 6/8/2008 11:04:37 PM | I think...........Obama should choose............................Michelle Obama as VP.
She's going to be running the show if he gets in anyway so he may as well give her a title.
* Be Sane. Vote McCain '08. *
