The difference is you have gotten older... LOL
I have been finding around here most women under 40 don't seem to have a clue yet as to what they REALLY want.... And the ones over 40 seem to know exactly what they want. I seem to get along better with women that are older then me then ones younger then me... Just haven't really found "the one" yet. Although I have someone I hope to be spending more time with as I get to know her so we shall see...
Actually met her at the first POF party I hosted and we have become friends quietly over time... I still plan to host parties but will be taking a lesser roll as her and I spend more time together. Atleast thats the way I see it today.. I had said I was willing to quit but there were too many people that appreciate them and half begged to keep putting them on... So I will for now...

I'm with Amy, I don't think I have as much in common with older guys...does that make me strange? I've only gone out with one older guy in my entire life. both of my ex husbands were younger then me, just couple years but none the less, younger.
Maybe it's just been the wrong older guys I meet, they always tend to be either heavy drinkers or want to sit home on their couch every night and be waited on...no way that happens here!

Well Debi, I have known you for many years and you know my luck with women so the best I can do is cross my fingers. I must say I have met much better women recently then I have ever in my life so we shall see how it goes.. Now I just wonder if I can stack up.. So used to only finding "trailer trash" around here that dating REAL women is a little scary at times.. But I am sure I will handle it just fine.. Eventually. I am a little rough around the edges but I guess with a little polishing I am not a half bad guy from what my friends tell me.. LOL
BTW, Robin, I don't drink, do drugs, gamble or any of that stuff.. Just a little goofy and such... Oh I did say a little rough around the edges... LOL

Drinking is ok as long as it's not the six pack every night kind of drinking Now that is HUGE barrier when it comes to dating guys for me.
I also have seemed to have a problem finding quality, your "term" is a good definition.

Posted: 6/24/2008 5:51:18 PM | WELP went to my second POF GTG and well ya know what met some GREAT ppl but again " FATHER FIGURES " and I mean its cool but I have an age limit an these men were WAY beyond it an they didnt care an kept on trying oh well but I did meet 2 nice guys who are in my age range and they are nice but they were very clear that they were looking for a hook-up an welp I am NOT... STill havent heard from the Tall ONe not sure if I should write it off or what??? Oh and REALLY BIG Job Interview tomorrow WOOOHOOO.....
