it mean "yes i am lookin for sex an can i f uck you as soon as possiable then try an shove my d ick in your mouth an then afterwards i'm going to leave you an go home like nothing ever happened forget all about your ass an avoid you, because all i wanted was a 1 time thing, then i'm going to get back online or back out to the bar to find a new piece off ass to f uck around with..
well ya wanted it an thats the full defination of "fun" for most..
so it's obvious why they run away or lose intrest quickly when you say well my defination of fun an your defination of fun are to differnt things... | |

Posted: 6/2/2008 2:32:55 PM | Woah Woah Woah. I must have an odd group of friends if we're all in the 2% of guys who think fun can be more than a one night stand. It's all about inflection. If you want to have fun then that's a pretty general thing and is more an open invitation for the other person to make a suggestion about what to do. If you want "fun" then yeah, maybe that's just looking for a piece of tail.
What drives me up the walls is when people use "I like to have fun" as a stand in for describing what they actually like to do. My idea of fun is tinkering with electronics and playing video games and making weird stuff out of wood and mechanical bits and bobs. Many people would find that boring to no end. Some people think shopping or going to a sporting event or keeping up with stock trends as fun. Those might bore me to tears.
Everyone likes to have fun, so mentioning it is pretty unnecessary. You have to be a little more descriptive than that if you want to find someone who's wanting to do what you'd think is fun though. | |

Posted: 6/9/2008 6:31:53 AM | about time this was posted. has been a pet hate of mine for a while, people with profiles that say "i like to have fun" or "am looking for some fun", "fun times, good times", etc.
Seriously, no sh1t people like to have fun! I haven't met a person yet who says they like doing things they hate!
But what kind of fun? Fun as in going to the zoo and feeding the animals, fun as in watching a good movie, or fun as in something a bit more adult and risque?
If people have written in their profile HOW they like to have fun, i've no problem with that, but when their profile a two-line description which effectively reads "i like to have fun, IM me to find out" IMO it speaks volumes about themselves that they are letting their profile pic do most of the talking and the kind of fun they're talking about requires no further explanation. | |

What happened to conversation? if I ask them what kinds of things they would like to do for fun and they stammer - well, it's probably clear they meant sex only.
They could also mean going hiking, going to dinner, going to a movie, doing fun things together to get to know each other. That's called dating and eventually if the fun continues and becomes exclusive, sex might actually be involved - imagine that. | |

I don't think the rules here are different at all. It just depends on the person.
In fact, I think HERE "fun" is less likely to mean "sex" than it does offline. I've seen plenty of women put "fun" in their profile, and they are talking about wanting to go out, go dancing, go drinking, socialize, do something other than sit at home.
Why put "fun" in your profile if you don't mean sex? Because there are a lot of people on here who have spent anywhere from 2 - 20 years or more in a relationship that was ANYTHING BUT fun. | |
