Posted: 6/8/2008 5:45:06 AM | I once shaved the neighbours Sheltie (smaller version of a Border Collie...think Lassie) ...seemed like the right thing to do at the time....ok I was 10 at the time, and I made it look like a lion, my mum thought it was hilarious.......still got a flogging though

| Open minded???....Do you try new things???? Posted: 6/8/2008 9:47:02 AM | I love it Clumsy....
...Am sitting here now, trying to work out what I can do with that smart ass cat that sits in the driveway on the otherside of the culdesac, strutting about in circles and blowing kisses at my Shepherd just to drive her to the point of despair where she barks at it and gets the other neighbours whinging and complaining about her barking.
Maybe I could shave it so it looks so darn stupid, it's too embarrassed and humiliated to come out...

Posted: 6/9/2008 1:58:06 PM | You see in the profiles girls who say "Open Minded" and "will try anything once" to some blokes (not me but I have heard this mentioned) this just means they want to try or like backdoor shanannigans. Well now I have opened that can of worms I'll be off!!

| Open minded???....Do you try new things???? Posted: 6/9/2008 8:39:17 PM | I always thought vegemite spread easily . I never keep mine in the cold fridge.. warm it up and off it goes, spread it here spread it there and you know butter side down.
As for trying something new . I haven had Peanuts for such a long time it would be like starting all over ago. I know so many people are allergic to them these days. I like a good nut or two.

| Open minded???....Do you try new things???? Posted: 7/12/2008 4:11:07 AM | A mates sister is staying at his place this weekend so we decied to take her pistol shooting today. She thought she would have a couple of shots and go "I've tried it and had enough now thanks", but she was addicted and was keen to load up and go again. We went for lunch after we'd finished and she had such a great time she's going to find out about pistol ranges in her area and apply for a license. She couldn't believe how addictive it was, and really thought she wouldn't enjoy it at all prior to having a go. Now she can't wait till next time. We ended up putting a couple of hundred rounds through in the morning.
I think this is the classic example of where you have to be open-minded to try new things without a pre-concieved idea of your expectations.

| Open minded???....Do you try new things???? Posted: 7/13/2008 3:30:03 AM | I have to say that was my experience with shooting when I tried it also. The only thing putting me off was all the police checks and gun safe requirements etc. A guy I know is obsessed with shooting that is involving moving targets etc. I think it is called I.R.P. or something similar. It is the kind of training cops do for up close and personal situations.
My motto is I will try virtually anything twice. Just in case I was too nervous the first time.

| Open minded???....Do you try new things???? Posted: 7/13/2008 4:00:11 AM | The moving target is IPSC. I've had a go of that and I'll probably start that next year when I get some more time. You have to shoot under and over walls, and the one I had a go at you had a target that when you hit it, that made another target would moved down and you had a 2 second window to put 2 rounds into it. It's good fun, but they only do it with centrefire like 9mm or 357 etc.
The police checks and fingerprint checks etc are a pain in the arse as is the paperwork, but it's a great fun sport.

| Open minded???....Do you try new things???? Posted: 7/13/2008 11:33:29 PM | Being open minded could many of things but i put it down to any thing and everything. Like wanting to be adventerous u have to be open minded as u never know what is going to happen but if u aint open minded about it then hmmmm well u just dont have as much fun and you dont find the things in life u then become to enjoy.....Im open minded to the extent where i will try anything once even if it is dangerous and scary and all the rest as u only live once and have to over come fear some how....If some one asks me to try something new thne im like yeah all for it as im always up for a challenge and doesnt matter to me if it is scaryy or im fraid.....Obvisiously i wouldnt rob a bank or steal from someone as they are not being open minded coz i would never break the law in the sense...I rode my first motor bike the other day and guess what?????I cum off a real nice beauty and burnt all my left leg of the exhaust but the fun thing about it all was that it was such a rush and adrenalin from just powering through the wind not even knowing how to ride and eventually i cum off as im just too short for the bike.LOL.Couldnt reach the ground properly and off balanced myself.OOPS>>>I do break the law how ever by having sex in front of everyone in the nights clubs as it is the biggest thrill for me.Alot of people are not open minded to try new and different things out there but u have no idea what u r missing.....Having sex in the sky rail in cairns whilst i was thousands of feet above ground was awesome as and so much fun....Driving trucks as you never know what could happen from day to day and the bigger you go the bigger rush i get.....It changes your perspective and your out look on your own life....... | |
