Ya, I get the rude.. I'm used to that but i dont like when people say they cant find a ride but dont respond when asked. Its more like "I cant find a ride with someone i'd like to ride with." Who knows. Guess they'll stay home then{/quote] Just so everyone is clear, I never got and offer and didn't respond. I understand some people can only take certain passengers and I also understand wanting to know you rider and the driver before the ride, I just wish everyone had the courtesy to respond when sent and email asking to ride or wanting a passenger. It is the mature, adult thing to do, but then again maybe that is too much to ask of some people. Hope you all have a great run!!! It sounds like it will be a beautiful day to go riding.

PS: I have ridden before but I haven't been on a bike since 2003, so I would probably need a refresher but I do remember how much fun it is and hope to be able to experience it again soon.

Maybe not a good Idea for me to ride with anyone after reading some of these post since I am inexperienced.
girl2no
Sorry if I gave you the wrong idea, I meant to convey that there should be some dialog and understanding between rider and passenger before going anywhere on a bike.
One further comment about riding for any rookies out there. Flip Flops or sandals and shorts are not recommended for riding. Close toes shoes or boots and long pants are recommended. Come prepared to ride. I will probably have a helmet or two if anyone wants to borrow one.

also what you wear depends on your biker too - some people don't mind taking the risk and wearing flip flops and shorts - you must be aware of the risk of getting in an accident and the less clothes you're wearing the worse off you'll be.
I'm sure that Tina can show up and find a ride.

I am about a mile off of 668 at the intersection of State Route 204 north of Somerset. I would be able to hear the bikes from my house. You are riding roads that I ride often, who is leading? Hopefully the weather is good, we need hot and sun. Text or call me when you guys are in Somerset if I don't meet in Baltimore. While in Newark, Jugz and Midway Tap are both good bike bars and normally have large crowds on Saturdays, you might want to make a quick stop at one or both. Chad

| 06-21-2008 --- Motorcycle Run (From Bonfire Around The Buckeye Lake Area) Posted: 6/20/2008 6:40:19 PM | It was over 20 years between my last two bike rides. The driver asked me questions, I answered them correctly about how to react in different situations, and had a great time for an entire weekend of riding! My point is... if the driver knows what they're doing, riding is a piece of cake | |
