His book about his father showed such love and respect, it was touching. There was such a peace and gentleness about him. The ability to be intelligent and strong, and still keep that humility and tenderness about you, that's something special.

| Anything Off Topic For Us Off Topic People Posted: 6/17/2008 4:37:45 AM | we have a Beverley Hills michigan MysticRose? I leared something new today. I see lots of road kill of that kind every time I jump on the high way especially downstate the most...poor things have no where to go any more. My sister lives down in Commerce township (near milford) and has a herd of those things in her back yard daily, they've worn a path thru her yard I think they like her woods | |

| Anything Off Topic For Us Off Topic People Posted: 6/17/2008 9:46:03 AM | I met him twice. Once at his book signing. He jokingly told me if I'm every in Washington to call him lol. So, when I was planning a trip to Washington, I found his office number and called, telling them he told me to call when I was going there lol. Didn't expect anything, was more just to mess about. His office sent me two tickets to a speaking engagement he was speaking at. That gesture was to me a great thing. After the lecture he spent about an hour speaking to us, even though he really had no clue who we were lol. Thought him a very humble, gracious man, since that day I was a huge fan of his. | |

MI but never down here until yesterday...and it's removed already Speaking of strange deer sightings, we have an area down here where there are a lot of deer and I saw a couple of bucks in rut...never saw that up north.
