| The Next (5th) Brizzy Bike Ride , SUN 29th June , South/NSW Posted: 7/3/2008 4:44:36 AM | Hows about making the meet point the Plainlands tavern for lunch. That way if small groups want to do their own thing they can. Maybe fit the museum in b4 or after lunch. Bris ppl can come over the mountain, Gold coast thru canungra boonah etc, North side thru kilcoy and split yard, Toowoomba can do ma ma/heifer creek, nanango can come down black but. Might make the groups a bit smaller and then you can choose the group you want to follow home and enjoy a longer or shorter ride.
Will also split the lunch crowd over a period of time but we all get to say g'day chat laugh and do all the things that these rides are all about...............
feel free to shoot me down in flames

| The Next (5th) Brizzy Bike Ride , SUN 29th June , South/NSW Posted: 7/3/2008 7:05:23 AM | I dont mean to shoot any one down, but arn't these rides so we can ride together. If we do our own small groups, timing will all be wrong some people will be waiting hours at the musuem, other will be ariving as every one is leaving!! also you'll tend to hang around the group you rode with. my opinion!!? | |

| The Next (5th) Brizzy Bike Ride , SUN 29th June , South/NSW Posted: 7/4/2008 9:39:13 PM | I also cannot find the next ride thread! Anyone got a link?
Now whats this about Pete being missed????
Why, what, where, when??????
Is he leaving us?
Was it something someone said?
I'm hoping not! Pete organises good rides, has set the bar pretty high for the next bloke, who has feet big enough to fill those boots?
Whoever it was that has upset Pete, get yourself down to the servo and pick up some flowers and chocs and go and beg forgiveness, for all our sakes!
And Pete, if it's your own decision to move on..........well too bloody bad! You've been out voted so get your maps out and start planning a ride! PRONTO young man!!!!!

| The Next (5th) Brizzy Bike Ride , SUN 29th June , South/NSW Posted: 7/8/2008 11:56:34 PM | Well what can I say, cept i had a great day ridin with you all and I was only one of the Virgins in the group. I had never met such a friendlier group of people full of smiles and laughter. The quality of riders impressed me heaps and the variety of bikes was good to see. To quote someone else on this forum it is as it should be with the mix we had on the day. Hope Rama got his bits and pieces back on his bike.
I started the ride with a vacant back seat which was bumpy at times, but the ride back to the servo was like the ride up accept it wasn't as bumpy thanks to Chris, have to be on the top of the list as a pillion as I didn't know I had one on. Thank you Chris for the back warming! It is just fantastic when a pillion can complement the rider when on the rear seat. (How's the b/side not to sore?) I hope to make riding with you guys a must do in my agenda. Thanks Pete for the great ride which catered for all makes and models.
Looking forward to meeting you all again .

| The Next (5th) Brizzy Bike Ride , SUN 29th June , South/NSW Posted: 7/28/2008 5:08:32 AM | Ah well, I missed out on the ride. Well this one anyway.
Ended up riding to Sydney to se my daughter at Granville. Took my youngest with me on the back. She froze. Ended up sending her home by bus, she reckoned it would be more comfortable and at least warm.
I have learned one thing, Cruisers can become a mite uncomfortable on a long ride.
