| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 8:17:43 AM | Men expect that a women is free of bodily hair, some of us even go through the expense of having it either waxed or lasered off. Why can't a woman expect the same in a man?
I personally can not stand body hair, I think is quite disgusting, and I get laser treatments. This is all personal preferences, some women on here have claimed to like hairy men, if you are hairy find one of those women and latch on, otherwise consider hair removal options!

| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 8:34:52 AM | I am a hairy ba$tard. Hair on my back, on my chest, in my nose, ears, even tongue. The only hair I do remove is my legs. Yes, I shave my legs. Why? I am a cyclist and even though they don't make me faster, it is easier to clean all the crud from the road after a hard ride with rain or not perfect conditions. Also it freaks those that can't understand that shaved legs can be manly.
Now with that said, I would not shave my back, my chess or even my mustache. I've gone out with women that told me that they couldn't stand hairy men, yet they went out with me and had no problem. But eventually I found a woman that likes her men to be manly and hairy. She even tells me that she loves the way I smell. Not the cologne or men's fragrance, no. That smell that has pheromones or whatever and it drives her crazy.
I used to shave part of my chess so my heart rate monitor could work better (another cyclist thing), now I just trim that area down and let it be since she loves to put her head on my chess.
So dude, get a woman that likes men not boys.

| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 8:49:37 AM | | Men are suppose to be hairy but if you look like you are wearing a sweater, yes that is too much hair. | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 8:58:22 AM | Well it happens to men of a "certain" age. Its like asking "should I get rid of the hair growing out of my nose and ears?" What about my unibrow...Hair tends to go wild in men over a certain age. Yes, definately wax that sucker. Hair on chest, good. Hairy back? Only if she likes being with a gorilla. | |

| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 9:30:08 AM |
Men are supposed to be hairy.
Exactly what i was going to say. I couldnt care less if a guy had alot of hair, or hardly any at all! If i love someone, i love them, all of them!
and people say women worry too much???
|
| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 10:41:40 AM | | back hair is not a flaw,it is the way a person is made ,.are freckles a flaw ?,moles? ,scars? ,cellulite? I know that some people prefer none of these. But not everyone is made that way or has enough money to be made into what is the "ideal". | |

| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 10:54:08 AM | You want to be with a woman that shallow ??Find a woman that is cool with you being you . What if you wax,..find a woman ,....it has been a couple of weeks,.... your hair is growing back in ,and you can't get an appointment to wax ,..and your back hair is exposed!!! ...should I go on??? | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 11:11:56 AM | Everytime I read that someone waxes........ I think of that scene in the movie last year Knocked Up, where the guys friends convince him to go get his chest hair waxed or the Mel Gibson movie What Women Want, he waxes his legs.... Seriously I think all of this hair removal crap is over rated, I read an artical on MSN not long ago where it said that the metro sexual look was out for men and the "MACHO" look was back....... Bare chested men were actually going thru plastic surgury to have chest hair added / implanted. We're never going to live up to everyones expectations. Dreams

| back hair Posted: 6/3/2008 11:18:34 AM | I love men with hair its natural.
once they start waxing they have to keep doing it and imagine it would be pure hell if they have removed all over, can here the screams ringing in my ears!
If you love the person you love them the way they are xxxx

| back hair Posted: 6/4/2008 5:15:48 AM | To all the ladies that have stated that men should be hairy, as it's natural.
Are you saying that YOU don't shave? Do you not remove the hair from your legs, armpits and possibly other body parts?? You ladies also have body hair... it's Natural for you as well!!
It's not shallow to not like a particular feature in the opposite sex, it's personal preferences and everyone has them.
|
| back hair Posted: 6/4/2008 5:39:10 AM | I went out with someone who had a hairy back..and he was only 19! Mind you, im not talking about a gorilla coating..but it didnt bother me to be honest..i always thought it would freak me out but its not about how they look. Eventually after 9months..he turned out to be a bit of a loser anyway lol
Not due to the hairy back!

I don't shave, I don't remove any hair -- yes, I'm all natural.
*shrug* it's just hair.

| back hair Posted: 6/4/2008 12:39:36 PM | i prefer a smooth back to hairy one....just a visual thing for me....tho i'd never judge a person's value by his hairyness or lack there of | |

| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 12:49:38 PM | I have hair all over, I don't know if its to much to little or what, But I have been thinking of having surgery to get rid of it for the girls. Now don't get me wrong I never had sex before. Ha, That sucks you know. Anyhow, Should I go through with this idea or what? I mean I don't really know it is hard to make a decision like this when really no girl has an opinion on this subject before........... I have never really even dated seriousley before, Girls and me always play that game Lie to there parents to see me. WTF! On here no one e-mails me back ???????????? Back hair help | |

| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 5:01:42 PM | Ok, I'm so bad I had a friend who refered to me as Chia pet!
I think this year I'll try Neat, I'm too much of a Pussie to get waxed.
My guess is, there are only 10 girls on the planet who like back hair and they've all posted here. Seriously though, it's probably age related preference, it's gone out of Vogue.
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 5:39:50 PM | Any girl who would end a relationship over this, is not someone worth having a relationship with.
A good woman will love you for YOU, not because you look like some guido that cosmo tells women we're supposed to adore.
Case in point, I have a good friend who started balding at 22, and was nearly bald up top when I met him at 24. We met and dated for about three months and it was NEVER a concern or issue, I didnt even think twice. It just was him, how he is. I never thought of J____ the bald guy. I just thought of J____ the guy I was dating, honestly. We ended up parting ways after a few months because he realized he couldnt commit to a single mother. But, we're good friends still and he has no trouble getting dates/girls. But, he is super sensitive about the balding thing. Honestly, it bothers him more than any of the girls he's dating.
Dont let your shallow friend creep you out. Be yourself, back hair and all. I know I'm not perfect-- so I'd never expect my guy to be. Be Real!
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 6:09:58 PM | | lgive me a hairy man any day.... I'll be the mugwump for a sasquatch | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 6:28:50 PM | honestly if i like a guy, i like his body, if the girl is really about you, she wouldnt comment on ur back hair, or be turned off by it, i have dated guys with both, i could care less, unless u look like bigfoot, i dont think its a big deal at all, your a man and men have hair,
thanks carly | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 6:33:13 PM | | Add me to the women who love a hairy man. Adults are suppose to have body hair, period. I'm sure some women are turned off by it, but I'm very confident there are more of us who aren't. For me, there is nothing sexier than running my fingers through a man's chest or back hair. Keep looking, we're out there! | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 6:36:02 PM | I had a bf who had quite a bit of body hair and I found it a huge turn-on... I think your "friend" is letting you know her "preference" which is fine... but you're 52, and if it was a problem for many women, I'm sure they would've told you. I say keep it; besides, the re-growth stage I hear is extremely ITCHY!! | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 7:09:28 PM |
my friend tells me that someone may just end a relationship if its such a turnoff anyone that ends a relationship over hair is not worth keeping around anyway so why even worry about it
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 7:44:46 PM | I prefer men without back hair. I am told that this preference has to do with the fact that I am only in my twenties. Apparently as women get older it becomes more appealing, I don't really know, it is just what I have been told. It could be that as men get older, they get hairier and therefore women have to become more accepting of it. | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/5/2008 10:06:06 PM | | That's it, I will buy a roll of duct tape and put it on my night stand. If a woman complains, she can rip the fur off my back with it. She better match the pain with equal amounts of pleasure afterwards, or my hair will be back before she is... | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/6/2008 11:16:41 AM | | I don't like back hair at all. I feel like I'm with a cave man or part momkey and it is a turn off. Some chest hair is ok if it is neatly trimmed and pubic hair no way. I guess I have just been lucky and dated pretty much hairless men. I have quit seeing men for back hair! | |
|
| back hair Posted: 6/6/2008 11:19:11 AM | Ew... EW EW EW! Chest hair, back hair, AND SHOULDER HAIR?! That's kinda funky. I'd so advise you to shave that sh!t | |
