divorced over weight mothers with closed minds and a general education that thrive on gossip and talk shows... What should I do? ... The young ones 20+ do not stick around unless their knocked up and the 30 some things are used up and have too much baggage / drama.

How the fuuck is someone supposed to answer your question? You don't the like any of the local women and you don't want to move and you don't want just random hook-ups.

What to do??? Jack-off a lot and make monthly trips to the "major" city to see if you can meet that special someone.

PS: If you are 33 and you're preferred age range is 21-35 then you need to start shaving so you'll look younger.

yeah, man. The only advice I really have for you is never ever refer to a woman as used up. That's just not cool.

Option one: Move. In my opinion this is your best choice assume you can afford to do so.

Option two: Lower standards and take what the town has to offer. Perhaps you can get an overweight closed-mined woman and open her mind while buying her a treadmill. Sounds funny but I'm serious. This is a real option.

Option three: Foreign Brides. No lie, there are many foreign beauties from South America, Russia, and East Asia that are willing to marry and settle with an American man. Of course, you'll have to go on a little vacation to make that happen, but it might be fun.

Option 4: Continue to date online and hope that you find a great gal willing to move to your obviously closed-minded town.

Option 5: You could move. In my opinion this is your...oh wait I already said this one. It's still a good option though.

I'm in the same boat as well. 100 miles isn't so bad. The nearest city for me is about 175 miles away. So I get there when I can and date where I can. The problem with my small town (10,000 people) is that I've either:

a: grown up with the girls in town
b: already dated said girls sometime during my life
c: I work with or know their ex
d: they know my ex.

So yeah going to the city isn't a bad thing. I think I'm going to end up moving there. I too have a house but I'm going to sell it and get out of dodge sometime. Just more opportunity in the city for work etc.

you could try the closest towns... or starting with long distance. Yes, as I'm saying it, I realize that it is going to be a lot more difficult, but if you're not willing to move (I don't blame you) then at least it's another avenue to explore.

I dated a guy I met on here that was 1500 kms away. We hit it off chatting, decided to meet and dated for 8 months. It was difficult, but it wasn't the distance that ended the relationship... it didn't work out for other reasons.

Okay so it may not be the best advice, but it's all I got. =)
