I've never seen anyone blow one that big. Guess I'm hanging out with the wrong crowd. 
The record (according to Dubble Bubble website) was a 20" bubble ... by some 10 year old girl in 1942.

Ever heard of Ton of Gum? (probably only the old farts like me will remember it)
Anyways, it's a big block of gum, and I use to chew the whole thing at once! Blowing bubbles the size of your head was easy. I also like to do reverse bubbles..except they pop in the back of your throat which can be kinda dangerous (choking hazard).
Gum "snapping" is the most fun though...a great way to annoy everyone around you! | |

You all know what happens when you're told you can't have something... You want it all the more.
Now that I'm all grown up and do NOT get gum in my hair anymore, I chew it because I love it... but I also chew it every so often with the express intention of making my mother go crazy. The gum somehow tastes even better when I'm chewing for that reason. | |

Posted: 10/11/2008 9:39:43 AM | I chew gum occasionally, as I sometimes suffer from Meniere's Syndrome (vertigo related to middle ear conditons). The gum really helps clear up the symptoms.
I was raised to beleive that public gum chewing was tacky and un-ladylike, but it's better than watching the room spin. Or the highway spin while I am driving.
Whenever I do chew, I cannot stop myself from blowing bubbles.
Face it -- it's just part of the experience.

That's much harder to do than blowing bubbles with gum. My dad was really good at it ~ I could never get the bubble off my tongue without popping it

The upside would be if anyone bursts your bubble with their finger they would not find it so funny.
