| stepping stones in the ocean . . . Posted: 6/11/2008 5:50:26 PM | In my childhood I liked to build drip castles. With multiple turrets and as many windows and doorways as possible. I would decorate it with seashells and pebbles. And build a moat around it so that when the waves would come, the castle had a chance to stand just a little longer. I’d grow it as big as I could get it before the tide would come and wash it all away. It was a game of beat the waves. Rules~creativity only. Just one could do it. It was my solitary escapism. The Gaudí Meditation of my childhood. | |

| stepping stones in the ocean . . . Posted: 6/11/2008 11:01:13 PM | Thanks for coming Rose, I was wondering if I'd have to drive to Cali to deliver an invitation myself. Tropical ~ Your writing all over the pond lately has been great! Thank you for coming here
I remember watching the window as you would practice into the night remember sitting on the brick garden across from the skateboard shop
looking up to the window lit up by the streetlights then to see you every morning to see what you came up with
you had become my pulse, the reason different from everything else no one else like you
crossing paths with millions you always remained . . . everyone knows someone someone who keeps their own beat
opening our eyes a different way that we knew was there but couldn't find befor personified idealism, dream beyond dreams
noone can take that spot they only get held up to that light without consciously knowing they've become the standard asking yourself do they open my eyes like that

| stepping stones in the ocean . . . Posted: 6/12/2008 1:33:24 PM | All eyes look to skies!!!
Not much of an offering, a little stone I didn't want to leave unturned!!!!
I get "LOST" in the skies vastness Closing my eyes forming imagery of an island where we all could meet build some fires and share all the life happenings face to face, arms around opening my eyes, seeing, here is the place of stepping stones unfolding our "LOST" episode, never to be on rerun!!
("LOST" is an intense, mind blow'n TV show, in case ya didn't know!!)

Stand out in the rain wish to feel no more pain! All the words that you spoke Leave me cryin' and soaked!
Seems the more that I try I find the less that I get! Wanna wait on the guy That is real...ain't found him yet!

Let the rain grow your flowers for you after the pain fades away. It's the ultimate win.

| stepping stones in the ocean . . . Posted: 6/14/2008 8:50:12 AM | Today
Today it doesn't matter what's written today you could lay out the ground work of "War and Peace" Today nothing said is going to mean a thing, but today something has to be said, something that can be dismissed
Today the Monal Lisa was painted and forgotten about for a thousand years today the shroud of turin was tossed in a corner as a rag Today Mickey Mantle's rookie was used as a flapper in a bicycle rim today a wet spot was found at the base of the Tower of Pisa
Today something krept up somewhere long ago and made today one that things go overlooked, unsaid, put to the side, forgotten for awhile Today is the day the load became to much to carry, and Simon stepped in to help today is probably the day Poe married his cousin
Today every part of my body aches, and my mind needs to rest Today all the words have been said still stand along the sandy beach against the wind Today all those that haven't yet been must rest as they will add too much to the load Tonight will be spent resting with beer after beer after beer after beer after

| stepping stones in the ocean . . . Posted: 6/14/2008 9:06:16 AM | Look....look back! the stepping stones of your life, your ocean awaits....
Your stepping stones lay behind you, visible, tangible, hinged to your actions, each movement, as you look into the mirror, how many stepping stones are people?
How many stones have a bloody footprint? and how many are decorated with love?
Look....look back, and count each stone carefully
your ocean awaits! | |

Really? A kitty? Seriously? Thats the bomb... volunteered at the humane society today Walking dogs...want a dog? Met two I fell in love with think we bonded, quiet Sage, Mommy Dog and a puppy named Bucket... would take em if I could. The less pretty ones are always the best. I actually heard, "Not that one she has droopy breasts". Made me cry inside cause the ugly ones love you the most for seeing the beauty inside their hearts Its reflected in their eyes...
