| Obama supporters and Bush.. Posted: 9/24/2009 9:06:18 PM | Well, I've not responded (that I can recall) to a complaint against Obama--at least since he took office--with reference to Bush.....
But why would it surprise? When I WAS complaining about Bush (during the disastrous years of his administration) I was frequently countered with references to Clinton's famous blow job (probably because that was the sole real weapon in the conservative arsenal).
But anyway, I SUSPECT that the reason many now reference the Bush years, as a point of comparison, is because BUSH epitomizes the failure of the conservative movement. Like....this was the best you could come up with? The MOST morally bankrupt, fiscally irresponsible, and essentially corrupt administration in modern history? Why NOT use it as a point of comparison? When you guys (the conservative movement) CAN provide a reasonable set of GOOD ideas reasulting in GOOD administration/governance....then I (as a NON-conservative) promise not to use it as a "Well Thank God We Are No Longer There" counter-example to having an actually intelligent president in the White House.
In the mean time....you are on to something perhaps....because there are plenty of CURRENT examples of bad conservative-movement (and by that I DO NOT mean ALL republicans) executive administration out there (I give you, for example, RICK PERRY). So perhaps Bush has to bow to other examples of HORRIBLE political leadership. And yet, I'm going to go on, for now, feeling pretty secure that nothing REALLY measures up to Bush/Cheney in the OMG contest!

| Obama supporters and Bush.. Posted: 9/28/2009 2:37:17 AM | | I hate all the negative criticism Obama is getting, how people are blaming him for the Domestic issues we have, because pretty much Obama is just trying to clean up the mess George Bush made, it's going to take years to clean up the mess the Bush Administration did. | |

| Obama supporters and Bush.. Posted: 9/28/2009 6:45:43 AM | Its always "Point The Finger",..and,.. "The Blame Game",..when it comes to any President,...which I try NOT to play,..yet sometime I throw in a comparision too.
It bad enough what this country has gone through the past 8 years of the Bush/Cheney Administration,....and I've been very vocal about my dislike of both the Chimp and the Warmonger,..who should both be tried for Warcrimes, and Profitering,.....
Its a shame when hard core party supports can only point the finger at the past President, when confronted with objections with the current POTUS.
I myself,..have NOT liked any president since Kennedy,..and now that I've learned that even he,..was NOT the man we thought he was, and that he wrote some of the most Anti Constitutional Executive Orders I've ever read,..so even he is a bum as far as Im concerned.
I had high hopes for Jimmy Carter,...but boy oh boy was that a farce too.
Speeking of Compairsons,..lets dwell on Jimmy Carter, and Obama for a moment,.....
Some people have mention that the World cast Obama in a favorable light, as leader of our nation,.......maybe Saudia Arabia,...but not the rest of the world, from what I read,
Consider this from Gerald Warner from the Telegraph in the UK,....
Barack Obama and the CIA: why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/geraldwarner/9614177/Barack_Obama_and_the_CIA_why_does_President_Pantywaist_hate_America_so_badly/
If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people - not even Jimmy Carter
OMG,.....a jab at Jimmy Carter and Obama,...who would of thought,...besides me....
Obama’s problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. Obama is not at war with terrorists, but with his Republican fellow citizens. He has never abandoned the campaign trail.
AMEN Gerald,.....I cant believe it,...another person thinks like me,...LOL
That is why he opened Pandora’s Box by publishing the Justice Department’s legal opinions on waterboarding and other hardline interrogation techniques. He cynically subordinated the national interest to his partisan desire to embarrass the Republicans. Then he had to rush to Langley, Virginia to try to reassure a demoralised CIA that had just discovered the President of the United States was an even more formidable foe than al-Qaeda.
I'll keep my really insulting thought about this upsurper to myself, but Im sure most any of you that have read my thought about Obama, understand Im no Supporter.
“Don’t be discouraged by what’s happened the last few weeks,” he told intelligence officers. Is he kidding? Thanks to him, al-Qaeda knows the private interrogation techniques available to the US intelligence agencies and can train its operatives to withstand them - or would do so, if they had not already been outlawed.
So, next time a senior al-Qaeda hood is captured, all the CIA can do is ask him nicely if he would care to reveal when a major population centre is due to be hit by a terror spectacular, or which American city is about to be irradiated by a dirty bomb. Your view of this situation will be dictated by one simple criterion: whether or not you watched the people jumping from the twin towers.
Obama promised his CIA audience that nobody would be prosecuted for past actions. That has already been contradicted by leftist groups with a revanchist ambition to put Republicans, headed if possible by Condoleezza Rice, in the dock. Talk about playing party politics with national security. Martin Scheinin, the United Nations special investigator for human rights, claims that senior figures, including former vice president****Cheney, could face prosecution overseas. Ponder that - once you have got over the difficulty of locating the United Nations and human rights within the same dimension.
GEE,.....contradicted already ? Who would of thought ? Beside me ! Like I keep saying,...Politics Is A Dirty Business,..and most ALL POLITICIANS LIE OUT OF BOTH CORNERS OF THEIR MOUTH ! and the majority of people swallow these LIES, Hook, Line and STINKER, almost everytime !
How many time do you have to catch these Politicians in LIES,..before you wake up, and realize the majority of them are LIERS, and say one thing, then do another ?
Its isnt just Bush,..or Obama,...it 99% of them,...yet we let ourselves be fooled atime and time again.
Go read the entire article,...to see why Gerald Warner says,...............
President Pantywaist Obama should have thought twice before sitting down to play poker with****Cheney. The former vice president believes documents have been selectively published and that releasing more will prove how effective the interrogation techniques were. Under Dubya’s administration, there was no further atrocity on American soil after 9/11.
President Pantywaist’s recent world tour, cosying up to all the bad guys, excited the ambitions of America’s enemies. Here, they realised, is a sucker they can really take to the cleaners. His only enemies are fellow Americans. Which prompts the question: why does President Pantywaist hate America so badly?
Well,...like they say, "A sucker is born every minute",....it doesnt take someone with a PHD to realize that the people in a position of Power , that is supposed to be lookin g out for American Citizens best interst,..are NOT doing so. Neither Bush,...nor Obama.

Yes I did, live and in person as the first plane flew past my office windows... Yes 6 of my best friends died in the towers... and yes, i could see people's faces from my office windows as they made the decision to jump... Yes, I ran down broadway covered in chit as the south tower fell and blew out all the windows in the building we just moved out of over the prior weekend... Yes, I was angry so I went back to work the next day but we couldn't so I went out to help the rescuers... Yes I learned how to really drink vodka and then had at least two drinks a day for over a year after that... Yes I supported Bush II and the invasion into Afghanistan and even into Iraq, if they had WMDs... but after 8 years, Bin Laden remains a threat and there were no WMDs so going into Iraq was illegal...
but no more... I blame Bin Laden as well as the Christian conservative right... we created Bin Laden, we empowered him and we were fools... just as the conservative right continues to be fools... gargling holy water and regurgitating the gospel as read by their talk radio heroes. War on terror... BS... when you go into a country that hasn't attacked you or intends to attack you, who then is the terrorist... instead of going after Bin Laden, Bush made us the terrorists... you want to know a moron, there's a panty waist moron! I believe in Obama for one reason... his devout conviction to better America according to the LAW... and that's what scares the bejesus out of the Christian conservative right because, compared to what they've done over the last 28 years, Obama is likely to succeed... so they'll stop at absolutely nothing to berate, undermine and prevent that success...

| Obama supporters and Bush.. Posted: 10/30/2009 12:25:59 PM | Looks like some others are getting tired of the Blame Bush Game.... Obama's Bush Blame Game By Charles Krauthammer
WASHINGTON -- Old Soviet joke: Moscow, 1953. Stalin calls in Khrushchev. "Niki, I'm dying. Don't have much to leave you. Just three envelopes. Open them, one at a time, when you get into big trouble." A few years later, first crisis. Khrushchev opens envelope 1: "Blame everything on me. Uncle Joe." A few years later, a really big crisis. Opens envelope 2: "Blame everything on me. Again. Good luck, Uncle Joe." Third crisis. Opens envelope 3: "Prepare three envelopes."
In the Barack Obama version, there are 50 or so such blame-Bush free passes before the gig is up. By my calculation, Obama has already burned through a good 49. Is there anything he hasn't blamed George W. Bush for? The economy, global warming, the credit crisis, Middle East stalemate, the deficit, anti-Americanism abroad -- everything but swine flu.
It's as if Obama's presidency hasn't really started. He's still taking inventory of the Bush years. Just this Monday, he referred to "long years of drift" in Afghanistan in order to, I suppose, explain away his own, well, yearlong drift on Afghanistan. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2009/10/30/its_time_for_obama_to_stop_blaming_bush.html

Think about that: '...it's as if Obama's presidency hasn't really started...' and ask yourself how supportive you've personally been of the new White House administration. Shouldn't take but a nanosecond.
Now, add in all those others who worship at the fount of mininformation/lies/government opposition, and you have a fairly good idea why it feels like that--to you.
Ask yourself this: When did Obama take office? Allow me to help with that tricky math problem. January. He took office in January. It is now, for all intents and purposes, November.
Subtract and you'll come up with...ten (10). Obama has been in Office for ten months.
Not a year.
Ten months.
During which time he has taken on, among other things, Iraq, Guantanimo, health care, the economy, and Afghanistan.
There hasn't been time for Obama to 'drift'.
