schmo, it's not your body type preference that people are taking issue with. each of us has a type, and you have a right to yours. what people are objecting to is your apparent NEED to degrade, belittle, and disparage those who do not fit your ideal...and to insinuate that anyone who might find a bigger girl attractive MUST therefore be "settling" simply because they can't get someone "better". not everyone will share your definition of beauty, and not everyone will share your lack of tact or manners.
I'm unsure of where I belittled anyone for liking fat girls. Not once did I say anyone was settling.
I was merely sharing my views on the subject. Just like you're sharing yours.

sounds very much to me like you were implying that men who end up with bigger women are doing so simply because they don't have any other choice ("settling"), and that they would choose a skinny (in your opinion "better") girl if given the choice. so you tell me where exactly in this statement you had anything positive to say about bigger girls or the men who appreciate their body type?
given everything stated above, i really do think i read you correctly the first time, unless you can find some creative reinterpretation of your own words. but i really think that your own comments speak volumes about your attitude without the need for further elaboration. | |

If you think that a size 14 is fat or big then thats your issuse because that is the avarage size of a grown woman. Also at 5'11 a size 14 is honestly in my eyes, normal... You are not fat, you are barely able to be called a plus size... You're a tall women, so at a 14 I'm sure you look fantastic... I'm 5'10 and I wear a size 18... I never have any shortage in men, and I always get compliments...
It's not about what you look like that matters...
At one point in time at a size 6 you would have been less attractive than at your current size... Most men generally like curves or soft flesh... something they can grab onto... Most men don't like being poked by a woman's hips digging into them...
Embrace your body and enjoy it! You will find if you do more people will come flocking to you.... | |

She has 2 children and her tummy is a result of that. Giving birth & motherhood is a beautiful thing...so should be the visual signs of that. | |

I have seen girls same height and weight as me and look heavier or thinner. Just depends on you build in my opinion. But whether a girl has some weight or not, they are still beautiful and any guy that see different isn't worth it in my opinion. I think its more in the girls attitude and the way you hold urself. I have more guys talk to me now as a 16 then I did when i was a 9/10 lol. Just be confident in who you are, cuz a lot of guys find that very attractive Plus, like many have said, at 5'11 ur by no means heavy. wanna throw a few inches in height my way? hehe. | |

Basicaly you are admiting that you will love someone just because the way they look and not by personality. What if she had kids, some women just can't loose the weight. Not because they don't want to, but because there bodies just wont go back to the original size. What would you think if your future wife left you because you gained weight. Your not going to look the way you do know when you get older, I can guarentee that one.
Women work differently then men, if we get stressed we gain weight. You left your previouse gf because she gained weight, and when you broke up she dropped the weight fast... that should tell you something right there

Everyone can lose weight. People are just too lazy to do it.
No one wants to admit, but physical attraction is a very important part of a relationship. Everyone sits here and says "Oh personality bla bla bla" but I'm willing to bet that all you women would have a difficult time meeting, dating, and marrying some guy with a club foot, halitosis, and enough hair to make 4 area rugs.
I'd hope that my future wife (but again I stress that the likelihood of me getting married is about the same as the likelihood of life on Mars) didn't find me at all attractive anymore that she'd leave. Luckily I have good genes, and I guarantee I will never be fat. | |

If it's weight that is the problem now and your all about the appreance then what is it going to be when she get's older? Things start to sag, she get's wrinkles and possibly facial hair..............But hey atleast she didn't gain weight right ;)

I definitely agree that physical attraction is a very important part of a relationship. However, I can also be physically attracted to women who aren't necessarily what society tends to view as attractive. Also, the more I like a woman's personality, the more physically attractive she becomes to me.
My ex was a size 14, and I never considered her fat (although some people I know did). Over the years, she sometimes lost weight, and I wouldn't notice for a long time. Other times, she would gain weight, and I wouldn't notice that either. Whether she was a size 12 or a size 16, she was still the same person in my eyes. I didn't find her significantly more attractive when she lost weight. In fact, the only reason I found her more attractive when she was thinner was because of the confidence boost it gave her, not because of any changes to her body. | |
