Posted: 6/9/2008 9:24:10 PM | I had my son about four years ago and before that I was the typical 5,11 size six legs for days kind of girl. My sex life was ok but by no means great.I lost his father when I was only 4 months pregnant. Make a long story short I gained weight and am now a size 14. I have recently started to date again and I was recently with a younger guy and he seemed to love the fact that I had a tummy. Is this normal or was he just a one in a million type of guy?

I have to agree with the men who say they prefer some meaty curves....I notice a huge difference being too skinny. It's about balance! | |

A five pound breast? Really. Strap ten pounds onto your chest and carry on with your day. Still joking? How about after strangers stare and make rude comments?
I'd much rather see fat in the chest than fat in the belly.
However, it seems like the fatter the chest, the fatter the rest. Yes, that's how it works. Perhaps buy a blow up doll for yourself - take control over 'her' dimensions.
Please let your potential wife know how important physical attraction is to you. And check with her about your hairline - how far bald do you have to get before she leaves you? | |

The softness of a woman's body when she has that little something extra truly leaves nothing to be desired in my opinion.
I too am a cuddler, and I can't imagine enjoying cuddling with a woman who is so small that my arms are able to surround her shoulders without touching her... that's a bit too close to necrophilia.

BTW, the reason guys are often attracted to larger women, Schmo, is that genetically, larger women are more likely to survive due to their better storage of fat. Posted: 6/15/2009 6:37:38 AM | when i met the man i'm with now he was with someone else a girl much heavier then me, now i'm not a skinny girl, but i'm not obese either i am still very self aware of my belly but like your partner its the product of having 2 children, me and him became fast friends and when him and his girl broke up they both moved away. i had no idea where he moved to but a few months later i ran into him a few towns away from where i live and we've been inseperable since he prefers my belly over that of a much skinnier girl or a heavier girl because, and i quote, i "look healthier and capable of giving him a healthy child"   | |

So in my unoffical survey, I would say that eight guys out of 10 prefer women with a little pudge. We do not like these stick thin creatures. We like some meat, and that includes a woman with a tummy.
Let me clarify, though: we don't -- by and large -- like what is referred to as BBW (i.e., fat or obese women).
But some pudge, a good-sized tummy, a big butt ... man, we are in heaven. | |

It may not be much of a compliment to men to say they think "Could I have sex with her? Then she's fine" but it would certainly make life easier for women if they accepted that. | |

There isn't anything wrong with liking skinny girls or women who are physically fit, but there isn't wrong with anyone liking bigger women either.

Posted: 6/15/2009 9:26:52 AM | i've had a "perfectly round little pot-belly" (pulp fiction) my entire life... even as a 5-hrs a day/ 7 days a week gymnast, that little protrusion stuck around.. granted it was muscle then, but it's softened up over the years (thankfully it's stayed the same size, one i happen to like) and i wouldn't trade it for the world. truly, it may be the most feminine attribute to a woman... especially when considering classic renaissance or medieval paintings.. not a one of those women are anything but soft, curvy, and each is topped off with the sexiest of pot-bellies..
granted societal standards may have changed, but i'd assume most men would still take the softness of curves over a rock-hard, bone thin body.

When I go out I tend to notice that the bigger women are the ones getting all the men. I feel like why is no one talking to me? I went out saturday and met 7 women through out the nite. I met 0 men. Not women as in lesbians or bi sexuals, just women that liked me and thought we should hang out again. I think being in shape is a thing of the past. | |

this is so totally ridiculous and stupid, it's laughable!! you can absolutely guarantee you will never be fat?? how in the hell would you know that?? most people do get heavier as they age and it just might happen to you one day, then what? what if you became disabled? you would most certainly gain weight then. i think you might want to change your name to the Big Schmuck. i'm sure the majority of people do not wish to become fat or obese. | |

Posted: 6/15/2009 11:40:27 AM | | also women's bodies are VERY different from mens in case you haven't noticed. we have many more challenges than you do!! unless you have a vagina, you should stop judging and being so critical. your bodies are ALWAYS the same throughout your life while we have to deal with menstrual cycles, pregnancy and then menopause. are you aware that you can gain up to 5 lbs. of water weight thru your period alone? and how about pregnancy? while i have never been pregnant, i've known some women to gain up to 50, 60 or 70 lbs!! now how do you deal with that? sometimes they don't lose all the pregnancy weight and then become pregnant again so of course now they have even more weight to lose. then we have good old menopause which again screws with your hormones and can also cause weight gain. i'm not saying these are excuse to become fat or obese but unless you have walked in our shoes, don't be so quick to judge. i see plenty of men who look like they are 6 months pregnant. so what is their excuse i wonder?? sometimes i feel like asking them when they are due. | |

Posted: 6/15/2009 11:44:14 AM | I think it's refreshing - some of the replies on here. I worked hard last year and lost 3 stone, so i'm around a size 14 now which i consider my 'perfect' size. It means i have a nice peachy bum, decent sized boobies, and i don't have to worry about ordering lettuce leaves & being miserable to keep a 10-12 sized me maintained!
The girls on these magazines who are so slim you see the bones.. Do guys really think they're happy? I once heard supermodels dipped cotton wool balls in orange juice & swallowed them to fill their stomachs.. 'Nuff said.
Looks and body fade with time but personality sticks around.. Wise up you other men! :) | |

Posted: 6/15/2009 11:44:31 AM | I don't mind a little tummy at all. I think a woman looks sexier if her curves are a little rounder..I find skinny looks unhealthy and unnatural. If a woman has a few curves i know at least when i want to take her out to dinner i'll have someone that likes to have a nice meal and will enjoy it. nothing worse then waiting all afternoon, building up a good appetite before you go out to dinner with someone and they sit there and chomp a small salad while you look like a swine .
