Posted: 8/2/2009 5:11:54 AM | I read this thread, and though I did not agree with many of the comments, I have to be grateful for the honesty of people out there. I, myself am overweight, I don't deny it and I don't try to hide it. My clothes will vary from a size 18 to a 24 depending on the brand, cut and where I bought it from. People these days are so caught up in the almighty dress size and how it makes them feel. I have no problem admitting to people my weight, becuase I know those that don't care will accept me as I am. (I'm 230 lbs)
I'm normally attracted smaller, yet softer guys, but if you aren't interested in me, I'm not going to go home and cry in my ice cream that you don't like me. I'll just go home and eat my ice cream and laugh becuase you have no idea what you're missing. People tend to forget that you may not initially be attracted to someone, but if you sit down and actually have a conversation with them, you'll probably change your mind. I have found myself really attracted to people I never would have considered, but because I believe in giving people a chance, I stopped to listen what they say, it amazes me what makes my motor run.
Do I think I should lose weight and get more healthy, absolutely, but I refuse to lose weight just so I can score some insensitive, superficial guy who can sit there and belittle anyone that's not perfect. I don't have a "little" tummy, I have a tummy, but you know what, my boobs still sick out further than it does. I LOVE my body, with it's jiggles, stretchmarks and wonky little toe.

This statement just shows me that you aren't taking the time to really get to know and care about the person you are with. Attraction is more than just the person's outside package, it is also the inside and what makes one person more unique than another. | |

Her top sellers were EASYRIDERS (BIKER AND NUDE WOMEN), PLAYBOY, PENTHOUSE, SMALL TOPS, HUSSTLER, and BUF. Buf is a magazine dedicated to Fat women, as in huge, as in bigger than a semi truck, as in enormous. Your new love hasn't any problems.
There are guys who like women with stretch marks, there's guys who like women with bellies etc. The only time I'd be worried about any guy (or for me girl) is when they find animals sexually attractive. | |

I've been with a couple slim women and i can say while having sex in certain positions-it does kinda make the one eyed snake look bigger. I just hated missionary with em ( i could feel there ribs stabbing me). Thick women to me are more fun to hug and get physical with. I also noticed ( not saying slim women are ugly) alot of thick or big women with beautiful faces. One of my ole child hood friends would make a joke about it all the time. Their face has to be that pretty because everything else on them is ugly. Posted: 8/9/2009 7:20:49 AM | I could not help but thoroughly read and enjoy this thread! I just put a post on "Ask a girl" about whether or not a woman would date a guy with a spare tire. Most of the responses were about my status as separated for almost two years. I was flamed by more than one poster who thought the spare tire I was referring to was my wife! Ouch! It got ugly and even a bit painful! WOW!!!
For myself, I prefer a woman with curves and substance. Size 12, 14, 16... whatever. I confess I am not generally attracted to women who are size 22 or more, though I have dated some, and we got along great. We just moved on. Oddly enough, my wife of 6 years is at tiny stick figure and it isn't working out. We get along great, but the romance is gone. Most women in my "age range" are not stick figures. Thank God! I have a passion for hugs and cuddling, and ribs are not cuddly. If a woman is athletic, great! Personally I would feel overconscious of my own belly when around her.
I have a bit of a belly. I hate it. Sometimes I think I'm obsessed with it! LOL So I am in the process of dong the core exercises to get rid of it. That said... I am learning what it feels like to have the opposite gender assess me based on my waist size. Very enlightening! | |

Posted: 8/9/2009 3:51:05 PM | when i was younger (10 or 11 yrs old) my dad wasn't much better off in the "tact" department than schmoe. i hit puberty and the weight went way up, really fast. he would tell me that fat people were lazy and useless and that i was fat. fat is ugly, unhealthy, no one likes fat people etc. i was put on diets and made to run on the treadmill. he would have me run w/ him and taunt me when i couldn't keep up. he meant well (i think) but his military background definately came through. men talk to other men like that to "motivate" them in the gym, but not to pre-teen girls. i can honestly say i had no self esteem until i was about 16yrs old, (and even that was pretty frail at best) not because i lost weight, but because i got taller. ALOT taller, (i'm 5'11') so everything kinda spread out to the right places and i found other things that i liked about myself and didn't pay as much attention to appearance.
I was still really self conscious about it until my first boyfriend in college. he LOVED the tummy. i thought it was the weirdes thing ever! "you actually like this?!?!" he didn't even notice the stretch marks. he even had a "favorite" curve (the part from the hip leading to the theigh). it didn't occur to me that men liked that until i met him. My weight goes up an down, but i think i'm still hot. i'm 5'11'' size 14-16-ish (varies because for some reason people seem to think tall girls are always skinny). i'm losing weight, but i know that i would be damn sexy whether i did or didn't. i'm glad there are guys out there who can handle this jelly. as for the rest of you, the skinny girls can have you! i don't feel like i'm missing out at all. lol!

One of the things that cracks me up are guys on a free dating site that are very specific as to what physical appearance they're seeking in a woman, thin, pretty, big boobs, etc, yet...they're ON A FREE DATING SITE....sooo...I'm guessing that the date scene already isnt in your favor...lighten up.
Chubby happens. I'm thicker, in my adult life, I've never been smaller than a 9-10. My average is 10-12.
