I am not a man, but when this has happened to me and the man's behavior was less than honorable the first time around or let's just say it, he knows he was an a$$. The man will call, with no general purpose, just to see how I am. He is testing the waters. What you should you do? Absolutely nothing. Don't think about it, don't obsess about it, just keep going forward. If he calls a couple more times to see how you are be nice, be pleasant, but don't get wrapped up in the past with him. If he askes about getting together listen to your instincts. If you are smart, your head will make your heart listen.
Looks like you already made up your mind to move on...great job on that by the way. =} If you still wonder at all why he may have called ya back, and not to make this any more confusing to you than it already is, yes he may have wanted some ass, of course he could have had another girl while he was dating you, ALSO he could actually like you. =} Weither or not the "grass was greener" or things didn't work out with another potential. Guys are capable of caring too =} They just may not know it for a while. Just...the world isn't all bad and not every guy is an ass. We just aren't as in touch with what we may want as women are. Yeah, I've had a similar experience. I was even dumb enough to believe his BS story about why he had dropped off the face of the earth (this guy used his mother as an excuse). Anyway, a few weeks later, he pulled the same thing again. What a worm! My two cents: don't give him another chance. Just keep moving on!!
