Who ARE these people? Could it be that they populate only the grubby landscape of the adolescent male mind? | |

Posted: 6/11/2008 5:19:42 PM | Very simply ...the proof of the pudding is in the eating and regardless of how many puddings either sex has even had the merest scent of let alone taste it is all about....finding someone who suits you, some of us have insatiable sexual appetites which need to be sated and it does not mean we are sex addicts, nymphomaniacs or saryrists or even over-sexed, it just means we're hot to trot and we need a partner who can keep up.
And if the OP is incapable of doing that he needn't bother blaming it on his partner, he should just try a lot harder to be more satisfying. | |

Posted: 6/11/2008 8:23:42 PM | Wearing short skirts, heavy make-up , tattoos and piercings etc.... are no Indication whatsoever as to whether a person is promiscuous or not. Ive never heard anything so bizarre. The poster these comments are attributed to must be a 12 year old schoolboy in short pants using a fake profile.
Promiscuity doesn't have an exact set of numbers to qualify you as such. Its all relative. What somebody may think promiscuous I may think the opposite. Ive never felt the need to ask any of my previous girlfriends about their sexual history as I'd rather not know. Its in the past and I don't see what the benefits could be in asking such a question.
I'll have to be honest though and say If I knew woman had a reputation for being less than picky and had been through half the town then It would definitely put me off big time. I wouldn't go there personally . I would find it difficult to have any respect for any woman who had no respect for herself. This Is often the case with people who grab and take home anything with a pulse after a few beers. | |

Posted: 6/14/2008 7:02:50 PM | I went through a few months of 'being less than picky' after a badly ending 15yr relationship. Yeah, I had a point to prove. I'd committed to forever (so I thought) at 16yrs old, now after two kids and a lot of comfort eating through the later bad years, I wanted to prove to myself that I hadn't missed out and it wasn't too late for me. I slimmed down and went out with single friends, dressed and behaved like what many people would call a tart or worse, had a few light hearted flings and a couple of one night stands too.
I dont see it as a mistake, quite the opposite, it was pretty good therapy actually! I was always careful too, and I'd do the same again if I felt it was what I wanted in life, its just not what I'm looking for anymore. Any man narrow minded enough to be put off I dont feel Im missing out on.
I dont think it should be attributed to low self esteem, drinking, smoking or anything else. They may be influences, but the influences are so many that you cant categorise people and label them this way.
Promiscuity shouldn't be such an issue (as it is to many blokes). I think its more important to note if someone has been unfaithful if you're looking for a long term partner. Certainly if someone is worth someone else, then I wont consider them. They're love cheats and if they can cheat for you they can cheat on you. Simple as that.
Also, if a bloke seems to be happy not to worry if he's carrying condoms, or doesn't mention them, then I certainly would, but it would also put doubts in my mind about his usual sexual health precautions, and that might put me off. | |
