And I guess that would apply to women about mishapen men ?( I'm referring to the mind that's poorly shaped, more so than the body).
I think SOME men may feel that way, but not all. Though I can respect other people's opinions-it's only an opinion not a fact. I would never say that my body is appealing to all men all the time-I'm fat not stupid-but to suggest men, in general settle for less flattering figures is comical.
I think most men and women have their preferences as to what they find appealing-myself included, but to suggest men settle for woman based on their size---I don't buy it. I'm glad my manfriend loves my a$$-but he loves the rest of me too! | |

I have one of those metabolisms where I would have to work very, very hard to be the ideal for many men and I don't find that to be worth it. I admit that. But, there are men who like me for what I am and how I look. I have a great friend who is one of those stick thin women who can't gain weight. There are men out there who love the way she looks. Then there are women who love the gym and the muscles and there are guys out there that love that. We just all have to figure out how to be the best us that we can be and stop depending on some "ideal" shape to be attractive.
A woman like me is not attractive to someone with your tastes. That's absolutly ok. I'm attractive to a different type of man than you anyway. We just all have to deal with the fact that some will find us attractive and some won't. It's human nature. | |

He just loves me the way i am.
when i see woman going on about their boob size i laugh they dont have a clue what it like to be 48L and what ever weight i lose never comes off there its my God given shape and i just love it. | |

Because of health issues (chemical imbalance) AND, admittedly, a sedentary job, I have acquired a disturbing amount of excess adipose tissue. I was on another 'regular' Internet dating sight for almost a year with hardly any hits and then I joined a BBW site. OMG, you wouldn't believe how crazy nuts guys are for BBW's! I would often have 30, 40, and 50 hits a day, dozens of messages a day and many IM's. The service had to ask me to clear my mailbox because they couldn't send me any more messages.
When IMing or even in their profiles, the guys will specify they are only interested in gals with big butts, soft fleshy bellies, big, boobs, heavy thighs, gals that weigh at least 250 pounds.
My sister has been married twice and BOTH guys had a fit when she tried to lose weight. I couldn't understand their obsession, because, face it....the media focus, advertisements and such, is on the 120 pounder. One guy said he routinely dated 350 to 400 pound women and if he wanted to date skinny chicks, he wouldn't be on that site and clicked out of our conversation (I guess I wasn't heavy enough for him).
Because I was so intrigued by this attitude, I did an informal survey when the right conversation/situation presented itself......one question was...when did you know you were attracted to BBW's. I was surprised at the number of guys that said they knew as a child they preferred a BBW.....others by the time they were teenagers and probably close to half about midlife or later. They said the skinny women were not as passionate, were more stuck up. BBW's were more spontaneous, creative in the bedroom, open minded, 'built for comfort'.....on and on.
It has certainly changed my concept of myself. I am MUCH less self-conscious about my weight when I am with a guy. When I was skinny, guys were polite to me, but in my present shape (or lack of it unless you count 'round' as a shape), guys are very vocal that they like what I have. To each his own........and.....interestingly enough..... I have begun to find that I prefer a Ken doll with dunlaps disease over Arnold Schwarzenagger, so I guess it goes both ways.
