| why dont most men keep it trimmed ?? Posted: 6/20/2008 10:31:38 AM | I started to keep it trimmed a few years back, and to be honest I haven't looked back.
Not only does it feel good, but from what I have been told most women prefer it. What guy has ever enjoyed picking a hair out of their mouth while in the middle of somethign enjoyable? I can't imagine that this is a turn on for most women either.

Well, if you're worried about that kind of thing--I guess you'll try anything, no matter how improbable. Personally I think I'm fine the way I am, penis size and hair and all. And so far the ladies have agreed.
Baa baa baa. Off go the flocks of trendies, to get sheared.

| why dont most men keep it trimmed ?? Posted: 6/20/2008 5:56:13 PM | | ok although i dont shave myself down south I do cut it at least once a month for a couple reasons of course the #1 reason being the less hair the bigger the shlong looks....also if you let it grow too much it starts to get really sweaty and uncomfortable and also I believe its just a part of being clean shaven...just know ill never shave my legs or arms the only time I've ever done that was once for gym class in high school when we did First Aid cause it was demanded by the teacher and anyone that didnt felt the pain when the bandages were removed lol. I've also lost a couple bets where I had too :) | |

| why dont most men keep it trimmed ?? Posted: 6/21/2008 6:13:03 AM | | I do not understand either. I keep it bare most of the time. The first time I noticed a woman - after my divorce - was close to bare, It was like wow. That is great. So I started doing the same thing... | |

| why dont most men keep it trimmed ?? Posted: 6/21/2008 6:18:58 PM | | Good question. I don't really have that many qualms about it, but I suppose if a man expects a woman to be bare, he should do the same. | |

| why dont most men keep it trimmed ?? Posted: 6/24/2008 1:42:40 AM | Man, I love these forums! After a long "courtship" in POF, my date showed up completely shaved....head to toe, uh hmm, and it made me nervous...like he didn't want to leave behind any DNA. I must say it was not attractive. Grooming is one thing but bare is, well, better viewed on a head shot. Now that didn't come out right either.....('')
Lol too funny Just smack him on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and tell him to keep himself trimmed - not pre-teen.
EDIT: And to answer the OP (I myself stay trim, but I can speculate) not all guys have a shaver on hand - and even then we have alot more to lose if not careful lol...

| why dont most men keep it trimmed ?? Posted: 6/24/2008 7:06:32 PM | Its just something society doesn't stress. Normal washing should keep us (both genders) clean enough externally. Body hair is natural, if a lady I'm with suggests it I may well try trimming or shaving south of the navel. Still I don't mind women letting their hair grow out.
Lets face it Cosmo and Glamor have a greater influence on women's self perception than anything I could say. How many ladies shave or trim because some magazine; writer, editor or general manager gives them the idea that that is what society demands of them?
My hairyness is a matter of genetics and societal standards.

| why dont most men keep it trimmed ?? Posted: 6/24/2008 10:58:42 PM | Okay.... This is as funny as a few other threads going around currently...
I like a manicured, pedicured and otherwise trimmed and kept sense of hygiene. I try to reciprocate that, as well. So, yes. I trim the hedge, lol.
I allowed myself to be lured into a mutual shave once long ago, and it was so damned irritated the next few days that all I could do was stay home with my pants off! Talk about unbearable burning and itching- I guess some of us have coarser hair than others.
I've known or spoken with women who shave the mons and trim the rest because of the same complaint, and then known some who had finer hair and just shaved it all. I peronally like a shaved mons, and I think that little artistic patch of hair just above the entrance to the establishment is a cute and sexy embellishment- adds curb appeal!!!(If I ever encounter one with a Nike Swoosh sculpted up there, when I leave I can say, "Just Did It!")
I too, am comfortable with what the good Lord gave me, but I agree that it LOOKS bigger if you trim away some of the underbrush- you can see where tree meets ground! And, I don't think I'd want some poor thing sneezing all over me because she got her nose tickled...
I know that I'm not fond of a two-inch hair tickling the back of my tongue when I'm down there, and given that hairs have cuticle overlaid like fish scales... Well, let's say as an example... A waitress drinks iced tea and pees all day at work. You just can't wash the pee smell all the way out of the hair. I have to imagine that we menfolk probably have the same effect from sweating and farting in our pants-tent all day, so the least we could do is remove the source of any issue that could hinder our success with the (not always so)gentler sex....
A layfriend from way back told me the #4 setting on the trimmer was just right for both beard and bush. Long enough to look and feel good, but short enough to stay out of the way.
With specific regard to my last pargraph... I wonder if anyone brought up how a woman's long hair down there can rub a man's shaft raw, and if a man has a lot of hair growing up his shaft, how it can rub a woman... Assuming this goes without saying.
Trimming is good. Indeed.

Yeah. Wash. Please don't tell me you think being hairless is good enough - ewww. Cleanliness does not mean hairlessness. It means that whatever you've got's washed. Then even hair smells just fine.
