True? And how many times a night does this happen? Are they so engorged that they'll wake you from a sound sleep?
It's like having your kick stand extended and keeps you from rolling over!
Or it if you had your face into your s/o beautiful long hair that would help in having a extended warranty!
A old, old, joke; Women to her s/o other, if thats elbow, would you please turn over, it's rubbing into me,
and if it's not I'll turn over!

For the record... that would be a ChickBat.
And... NO, I do not have one... My membership in the DudeClub is strictly honorary. "ChickBat".... got it. And that membership......is it transferable???
I thought things that weren't used got Rusty. Not my ChickBat...... (said in my best Pink Panther voice....)

| It happens all night long?? Posted: 6/10/2008 7:03:27 PM | every time I wake up in the morning I have one. Sometimes I will wake with an especially violent one and can't sleep until free of it. I assume that is pretty normal. It's happened more since I began jogging and training.
also on airplanes I get them like you wouldn't believe. it's the change in cabin pressure. Never sit on my lap on an airplane unless you want to share some intimacy with me.

What do you think men dream about? Have you ever heard the expression "dream girl".
Ask a man what his "dream girl"--the one he dreams about, is like, and what she does for him. These are the things that will make a man fall in love with you.

Geez....if you need to see it hard at 2am, just grab it, suck it and be done. What is the problem?

| It happens all night long?? Posted: 6/11/2008 12:04:43 AM | Yes; It occurs mostly during REM sleep but can occur in other stages of sleep. REM or rapid eye movement sleep is another term used for dreaming; its a normal process of sleep. There are actually devices that they can use to measure erections during the night; during a sleep study; that can measure levels of impotence. It matter per person how may there are. It varies.
You need to get out more.

NPT stands for National Pipe Thread. All real men know that.
Actually Karrpilot, all real men know that NPT stands for National Pipe Taper. There are many different pipe threads, such as NPS (National Pipe Straight). Your mistake is a common one...

Posted: 6/11/2008 5:36:06 AM | | Erections while alseep are not related to having to urinate, they simply are caused by dreams and most dreams cant be recalled in any detail. I said many, there are people that always remember dreams, so if you cant explain the erections you dont recall the dream.

| It happens all night long?? Posted: 6/11/2008 5:54:14 AM | Re the Opost It is a not a night thing per se, can be 24/24, 7/7 thing and with me it happens especially when I have just woken up and start a new day! Hm, now that I come to realise it ..... that means that each new day gives me a boner! lol lol I guess I am not into dreams, but into realities! lol I used to get wet dreams but as a teenager. | |

| It happens all night long?? Posted: 6/11/2008 7:55:40 AM | I can only speak for myself, but between the ages of 10 and 15, it never went down. That's why I always pissed on the seat. I just couldn't bend it down or it would break I swear. And people wonder why kids like to piss outside. It easier! lol.
Ever wake up to a night time leg cramp? Know how rock hard your calf can get? While it's not quite as hard, it's pretty close and doesn't hurt enough to wake you most times. Thankfully doesn't happen often. Night time erections can be painfully stiff, and just because we get a boner doesn't mean we want you to sit on it. But we won't push you off either. lol. Just be prepared to have a few holes punched through your cervix and have it land at the back of your throat when we cum.
More 'subdued' night time erection are much more common and happen about as often as you dream, and you just sleep through it. More often if you have to pee but are too lazy to get up and go to the washroom. Probably because the bladder presses against the prostate, so sleeping curled up might induce it more often than sleeping stretched out. But I'm not an MD so I may be way off, because the serious stiffies happen when I'm on my back.

If your mind is truly an inquiring one then why not seek out the information on a medical site as opposed to an online dating site? -- (Uhmm - sounds as if someone is in dire need of some attention!) Now what fun would that be?? I'd much rather hear from my Forum men.... their answers are far more entertaining and enlightening.....
Case in point:
Night time erections can be painfully stiff, and just because we get a boner doesn't mean we want you to sit on it. But we won't push you off either. lol. Zen: Why don't you go to the local bar or church to get a date?
Medical databases are about as definitive as a weather report. But she did look it up anyway (read the thread). It states "What's still unknown is whether the content of dreams has any influence on whether or not you get an erection." What Nobel winner thought this up? For all she knows, it could be uncommon to people dealing with divorce and to frogs.

| It happens all night long?? Posted: 6/11/2008 9:09:46 AM | Funny question BullieLover,
Yes it does happen to men while they're sleeping, it obviously must in my case because anytime I wake up at night to use the bathroom I have one (ever see the 40 year-old virgin's opening scene, it IS that hard to aim well when you're at full mast )
I've discovered it's not just restricted to night-time, ANY time I have a nap, even a 5 minute one on the bus ride to work I wake up to find the Old Captain saluting me... It can be rather awkward and I have to wait a minute before getting up to get off at my stop, lest I call attention to it!
At first I thought it was simply an affliction of youth, but given that it's been going on now for nigh 20 years, I don't think it's going away anytime soon!
Too bad I don't currently have a girlfriend sleeping beside me to avail herself of the goods! Could make for an interesting awakening...

| It happens all night long?? Posted: 6/11/2008 9:31:35 AM | I have gone to sleep many nights, enjoying my wonderful dreams of living the life of luxury, men fanning me, feeding me grapes, swimming naked in the pool, shopping without a budget, among other dreams, when rudely awoken by a midnight woody seeking attention.
Yes, of course I did. Wanted to get back to my dream world.

| It happens all night long?? Posted: 6/11/2008 9:43:52 AM | Your body has a way of taking good care of itself......and that is just another part of the body that Mother Nature is making sure that it is in proper form for frequent and correct use...........
What is funny is when that significant other next to you awakens and sees it, asking...."Is that for me, or are you just dreaming"...... The answer is......"Try it and find out"......
OT..........As long as it "does" happen, I am fine with it......all a part of nature........but if it "does not" happen, I will have a problem.......
Just my opinion...... | |
