Posted: 6/14/2008 6:29:09 AM | | i think it varies tremendously based on the person. i get hot and flushed, but don't break out into a full sweat. guys i've been with have ranged from the same as me to sweating so profusely that it was dripping off them and into my face (stings when it gets into your eyes) and literally soaked the sheets. it has nothing to do with how intense the sex is either (as i tend to always like it intense), i think it just depends on how active your sweat glands naturally are and your body chemistry. | |

OK, I think this is going to sound weird, but is there anybody out there who DOESN'T sweat during sex? Is having sex so quick that you don't have time to sweat? Is it possible to have sex so slow that you never build up a heart rate??
I guess it's possible to not sweat during sex..... if you're doing it wrong!!!

I was pressed to the bed, hair wet from the shower and he was holding me down. The sensation of our mingled sweat dripping slowly down the spine of my back and mixing with "us" was one of the biggest turn ons. Feeling, smelling, tasting our love-making while he took me from behind is still a haunting memory that I return to on lonely nights ;). For the posters that said that if you don't sweat you aren't putting in enough effort I don't agree. For one I am not much of a sweater (is that even the right word?), I bike and run in 100 degree heat, and will only get a thin veil of sweat on my back and belly. Secondly, I am always cold.. with no clothes on even more so, that's not to say that I don't "warm" up, but I don't break out into a full sweat, and I would not say that I am not putting in the effort needed for mutual satisfaction. ... | |

i never thought anyone would find it weird if the person is sweating due to sex. it's an activity! i wish i actually sweat more. might as well lose a pound or two while having fun. | |
