| Def Leppard Posted: 6/30/2008 5:05:28 PM | | I love Def Leppard, however I can't help but have a little chip on my shoulder over their stature as the Saviors of MTV in the station's formative years. Due to the popularity of "Photograph" on MTV, we can thank Mr. Elliott and the boys for such ethical trainwrecks as "My Super Sweet Sixteen." | |

I didn't care much for their stuff after the 1980s but I liked 1996's "Slang" which was so unlike their sound. A good record and would have been a hit if it was released by another band. I still like hearing their old stuff.

| Def Leppard Posted: 8/4/2008 12:16:03 PM | I, too, grew up listening to Def Leppard, although I did not have a privilege to go to any of their concerts. I'm still listening to them, got their songs on my iPod! I would say that every Def Leppard fans would have their favorite album, that they would not agree on what is the greatest album. Personally, I really loved "Hysteria", but the rest are just as good. For someone who has all but one album before the "Vault" would you even recommend me getting "Vault"?? I don't have the last two albums but they're on my list. Sure, they have albums that vary in styles not similar to their earlier albums, but, to me, they still rock!!! | |
