Kat you are going to top the previous parties I can see that already and for those who want to make a weekend out of it...especially those from out of town... this is the weekend to do it. Thanks again Kat.. I know this is time consuming...but by now you should be getting to be a pro at it! 
wait.. can you believe someone asked me if I was coming with a friend???? he meant a date...I just don't get it.. I am single...single...single... If I wanted to go on a date with someone it sure wouldn't be to this party.. heck this is a time for me to get out and have some fun with my friends!!!!

Mark and I met at the last POF event (my birthday) and he and I will be there together!! We've been "together" for 7 weeks now. But we're mostly going because I'm helping hostess and I wouldn't miss Kat's Birthday for the world!!!!!!: I caught my fish at one of these parties, and he's a keeper. Aren't you baby????  *I know he reads the posts every night*

Gotta share the love with my happy co-hostesses with mostesstes...lol...Linda and Shellie! :) 
Here's another cool thing...and what I stress to everyone that responds with questions or worries, from the mass mailings. THE FORUMS...be here...between NOW and the PARTY...and you will NOT feel like a stranger walking through those doors, no matter how shy, how much of a newbie!
A rapport is established here...and someone will approach you with a ?? look..."Oh my gosh...you are (insert user name here), aren't ya?" :) And there is tons of laughter as a result of all of the anticipation!
There are more than just ONE room left, by the way! :) But they can fill fast, and I believe the Strat has only 150 or 180 rooms. We are the only party happening this night, but being a weekend, summer, etc...they could fill! RESERVE! :) | |

On that note for those of you interested, i stopped in at the strat about an hour ago, seems the bookings are light and they have about 150 rooms reserved for the event, and that doesn't mean they've been reserved, just that the hotel is reserving them for fishies if they want them - guess that does mean they're reserved huh? Crap i just confused myself!!!
...Anyways, apparently all the other hotels are filling up... and if your to drunk to make it to another hotel or home, the strat should be able to accommodate you...
Seems a bunch of drunk singles is the topic of conversation with the employees of the strat these days...
And yes i have a room, and no that doesn't mean i'm going! doesn't mean i'm not going either... hmmmm lemme get back to ya on that, i'm still confused by my earlier comment....  | |

I am not in any way bringing a date with me, possibly a friend from my past that I haven't seen in quite a while because he will be in from the services. I cannot wait to see this person, granted we are only friends.

What my point is here, I am NOT in a relationship and well of course I am looking... so why would I bring someone as a date with me?? In the future IF I meet Mr. Right, I might stop in at one of the get togethers just to say hi to friends, but to make a date to a singles gathering or even make a commitment to someone via an email that I will ONLY be with that one person... nope not nodda.
What if that did happen and when we met.. there were NO sparks? I would feel obligated to like hang with him for that evening ... which just blew my chance of meeting Mr. Right.
Personally, I don't care if couples come to the party ... to me that tells me there is a strong relationship there and I hope I too will be in that position some day. Go to your corner Byte!
Ok, I am sure you all knew what I was saying but I just wanted to be sure I was understood... hhhmm like Byte said, maybe I just confused myself
