I don't think many room up unless it fills up...cause the rooms are so cheap!

Amber...I can't answer that...all I know is, when I was at the Strat last week, the front desk Mngr mentioned it to me and referenced you by name. She said that you were allowed in the bar and parties, but not as a hotel guest. (And the other gal, as well)
If you choose to ignore that...it is up to you. But if you do get a room by yourself or with someone else, and they discover such...they have every right to make you leave without a refund. Just a warning, ok? I would like for this to be pleasant for all! :)
Edit to add to Laura! Long time, no see! Apparently, bars in the area are having to card, regardless of age! LOL I know at Gregg's Birthday Party at That One Place, people were refused entrance who were obviously of age...and all the begging and pleading did no good! I have never been carded at the Strat...whassup with THAT??....lol...but better to be safe, than sorry! I know I have gotten people into the Strat who were old enough, but had no ID...so I foresee no problems! | |

I have to work till 5 on Friday so that leaves Kat & Linda short a set of hands and anything we can't get done on Thurs MUST be done Friday afternoon!

Posted: 7/31/2008 7:57:29 PM | Hey-dee-hos! ;) Wow...leave for a couple hours and come back to almost 220 on the sign ups! Rock on! :)
Actually, we have had quite a few peeps volunteer to help...the thing is...it takes hours to get the ballroom together...setting up tables, placing tablecloths, balloons, centerpieces, wall decor, games, etc...not to mention expediting the plans for how it all melds! lol LOADS of fun...don't get me wrong...but by the time we are done...we are hot, sweaty, tired...and it's great to have several hours to sneak in a nap, showering, and getting all perty! So...point is...we wanna start early, like late morning...and be DONE and locked up by 1ish at the latest! :) Oh...and there is ALWAYS at least one catastrophe...itsa given! LOL
I totally understand that since it is a Friday, most cannot get there that early. For those who can or will...SUPER! Denise...you gots my number, girl! Any others...just come to the Ballroom when you are ready to rumble...iffen it is not already done...we will definitely put ya to work! ;) | |
