OK...trying to go back and see who all volunteered for being a door greeter? I know Miss Cammie was one...Amber another....but we need at least four others, preferably more. ;o) Any takers? I would REALLY like to give the co-hostesses a break from such cause they work so hard prior to the party...and are super minglers, anyway! ;)
The ballroom looked phenomenal the last time I checked on the status of it! The dance floor is HUGE now...and the bar is so long that we will have no concerns with it getting congested. | |

Yes I volunteered and you put me with Rosa. So if that is any help for ya. At this point we are scheduled for 630 - 730 time slot.
Charlieboy38 - you and your friends were at the St Pats party - and I know you had a great time. So we welcome you again and look forward to seeing you and your friends. That is one advantage of being Hostest for these parties - you get to know all the people that are new to the parties. Oh by the way the one pic of you is at Denny's aftermath breakfast St Pats Strat party. Gotta luv a good memory!!! | |

Can someone please contact me about my schedule so we can set one of these up so I can attend atleast one in my life time lol. Felt like being a smart butt tonight lol | |

I noticed we have someone signed on from...Montanna? That will be a record for longest travel distance for a St. Louis POF party! LOL
Shell and I went to the Strat after the Royal Dump last night...ballroom is nearly all finished and looking really spiffy! It was nice and cool with the new AC system, too! :) The co-hostesses and I are really excited about spiffying it up all and making this a good visual as well!
Reminder...if you plan to stay the evening...and join in on the Sand Volleyball and Barbecue...it is suggested that you reserve your room, early! A credit card is not required for reservations, so even if you end up not attending or staying, there is no risk! And it guarantees you the $35 a night room rate! | |

I'm not one of the regulars, in fact I have only been to 2 POF events and left one at the Strat because it was just too hot, I know I wussed out. If you still need door greeters I can do that from 7:30 - 8:30 and I am sure I can get one of my friends to help me if there are no other volunteers A few friends will be coming with me, some married, some not, but all fun people
Oh yea, and we will have to do a tequila boom for your B-day | |

The volunteer hours are gonna be whole hours, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, and then at 9 we just kind of keep an eye on the door for newbies. Will post the final schedule...but I think the shift I need is 8-9 covered. THANK YOU for volunteering! It is actually a superb way of meeting people! :)
I for one, encourage people to bring their friends and adult family...even if not "single." I know some people think this sucks since it is a "singles event" but you never know...that married girl may have a hottie, single girlfriend who she thinks is just perfect for you! ;) My brother has some mandatory vacay time...and I was trying to sweet talk him into taking it here for the party...but he is in California...and only has like 3 days he has to use. | |
