That was a terrific game alright, and with a poetic kiss of death to boot. "STAMPS STOMPS STAMPS!!!"

...Wonder what the rest of the weekend will bring?..

Rain in the west, sun in the east, watching players sweat for the different kind of heat that is happening down east!!

Was a good game, and with 38 seconds left, who would have thunk it would happen?? both teans deserved the win, but the Eska decided they should take it outright, and did

As the old saying goes " Paybck is a ***** (rhymes with pitch)

The Stamps stomped tonight, must have been the later game time, so the whole country could see the whoop azz game from the west!

T'was a dandy.

Would have liked to see that "2" remain on the scoreboard though.
Seems that the Horsemen watched some film, cause we were sure able to contain the run!
And Arkee Whitlock was looking like that first game he played in Montreal.

Here's hoping that we can beat the odds, and win on Friday.

It was one of those games that watching on TV did not do justice to, apparently.
From the way Ray was continually throwing either out of bounds, or out-letting to Whitlock, Calgary’s defensive secondary must have played the game of its life. You can't see defensive coverage on TV and they rarely talked about it, but that's who I would give the game ball to... the entire secondary unit... just based on what Ray was NOT able to do.
Now we get to see what Richie Hall is made of. It's a lot easier adjusting to a loss than it is to adjust to a win.

Agreed. We'll get to see what Hall's made of now.

Regarding the game......... All I can say is OUCH!!!

I sure hope Friday's game is more watchable. (side order of redemption wouldn't taste too bad either)

Sorry Esks Fans, I called that one, didn't think it would be that lopsided but was certain the stamps would win
I agree about Friday, not sure about a different outcome but it will be a different game for certain!
go Riders!

Riders are now in first place due to a hot team in Montreal on the Holiday!!

32-11 trouncing was not a good showing for the Stamps, but...... once they get back to the colder weather maybe they will tighten up their weak line from the weekend and get more points on the board!

Riders are actually tied for first place with the Stampeders.

Hopefully the Stampeder offense won't be so offensive on Saturday.

Hey peoples! Been watching the rise and fall of the great Esks! but not sure whats been happening. The one thing that appears to me be a definite turning point was the at the firing of thier Offensive Co-ordinator...coincidence?? what u think?

I grew up in Texas where football is not just a game, it is life. I don't understand the CFL rules that much, but it looks like fun. I will admit that I haven't made it to a game yet, but I do live right by the stadium. I think that next year I will be going to some games though. The only thing that I know I will miss is being surrounded by 50,000 screaming Cowboys fans. I really wanted to be at the new field when there was 100,000+ . I can only imagine the noise.

So anyone from Calgary see the game against Sask..? I won't bother taking any comments from Edmonton as I know no one there would watch...LOL!

The Stamps got a lucky break from the zebras or else they would have lost in OT.

The game was blacked out until less than a minute to go in regulation, so when it was able to be seen, most were doing something else. The green team have first place by virtue of points scored, currently, let's just hope that only the Stamps contine to run away with scoring!!

So I am not the only one to think that the refs called a bad one...AGAIN...against the Riders? I am prejudiced though.
And tell me when is BC going to quit getting lucky ....I just don't think they deserve to be where they are? I also don't know they can keep under the salary cap and have players hanging around like Printers...let alone have a 3rd stringer like Lulay. But once again I am prejudiced.

You must be prejudiced, as the Riders have incurred the least penalty yards in the league.
And tied for fewest penalties called (with those pesky Lions) - which frankly is a stat I admire. If you aren't taking penalties, your team is playing by the rules and showing great discipline.

Bet I am not the only Stamps fan who think that WE had the bad call in o/t!
Who has ever heard of 'pyramidding'?
Yet we all know you don't rough the passer!

Regardless it was a great game, and as whatsisname from the sun said, neither team deserved to lose (or was that win?) so neither did!

I would agree with the rough the passer call if the tackle involved driving the helmet into the quarterback, but since he had already scrambled away the rider defender was only playing football by the rules by making sure the quarterback didn't get away a 2nd time. In a less intense game perhaps he would have thought to only touch the quarterback to end the play but it was for 1st place.

There is a rule against pyramiding in the cfl rule book.

Last nghts game had some questionable calls, but in all, it was a good game.

Stamps are now one of the three teams assured being in the western play downs

If things continue for the Eskimos as it happened last night, it will be 5 years for no playdowns in that city/

The Green Monsters managed to sqeek out a win by three points, and are in first place by virtue of 6 points more scored than that by the Stampeders, next couple of games should be interesting to see who scores the least!

If Stamps win the Nov 7 game by more than 7 points, and they both score the same next week, Stamps take first place!

Should be a gooder today- the Riders will have to work extra hard to beat the Stamps, but I think we have got their number for this game!
