I just wish I had seen last nights game!
I picked BC in my pool, (which closed Thurs eve.) Woke up yesterday with this "Edmonton's gonna win" feeling. Too bad I couldn't change my pick at that point!

Todays game?
Well you all know who I am cheering for.
You can probably guess who I picked in my pool.
But I am not overly confident! just confident!

Now, since I was dumped by my cable TV provider, I need to find somewhere to watch the game.
Flames Central is broadcasting, but I have a feeling that will be full of young Rider fans. And frankly young Rider fans aren't my favourite!
Would rather find a spot that has other CFL fans - whether they are wearing red or green!
Maybe go to (is it Blackfoot casino) where QR77 does their broadcast.

I'll doin' the Rider Stamp Stomp right in front of my own big screen.
Beers - check!
Pizza.. er.. maybe Subway - check!
Clear path to bathroom so I can p qwik 'tween football downs - check!

It will be a close game, me thinks. Green is up for it. Tis only 10C in riderville right now. The Stamps being used to the recent Chinook weather AND the roar of the Rider nation will be big big factors!

Green IS the colour!! ya baby!

Rider Song
Green is the colour,
Football is the game,
We're all together,
And winning is our aim.
So cheer us on
Through the sun and rain.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
Is our name!

Let's show our pride in the Green and White.
We will fight, Green and White.
Sing loud and clear 'til the game is won.
The best is yet to come.

Here at Taylor Field we are Number 1.
We're the best, East or West.
We'll give our all 'til the game is done.
Stand up and and sing, everyone.

Calgary and BC are both 1-0 in the post season.

Hoping for a 2-0 for the Stamps
And a 1-1 for those pesky Lions

2 more weeks until the BIG game!

Did anyone watch the Fifth Estate last night about the short life expectancy for football players who suffer repeated concussions?

Nope, but a friend sent me a link to the Dan Kepley interview.

I kind of wish I would've watched it.
Just to compare eras.
They handle concussion a lot different now than they used to.

Think I am either going to Flames Central or The Shamrock to watch the game tomorrow.
Probably the Rock as then I can enjoy some music at the same time!

It keeps repeating on CBC News channel. It's worth a look - the damage didn't stay in one era...

I'll have to watch it. That's scary. I've had 6 myself. Fortunately none of them were from playing football so I guess I'm okay

Well speaking of "concussions" , I hope the Riders give the whole Stamp team a concussion!
Frankly I can't see how anyone can cheer for the BC Lions....even people from BC....thier colors....thier "better than thou" attitude coach ...thier favoritism they get from the league and the refs(ok that is a biased perception)...I pitty those who are from BC that feel they HAVE to cheer for them. No wonder most are Seahawk fans in BC.

Back to the Stamp team ( I felt it neccessary to first explain how much I dislike the Lions) . The Stamps are getting near to even with my dislike of the Lions.
Huffy's demeanor is sooo tight arsed.
And someone needs to wipe that persistent smile off of Burris's face.(too bad the ESKS didn't)

And I hope the Rider players REMEMBER...Burris left them for Calgary BECAUSE HE WANTED TO BE WITH A MORE COMPETITIVE TEAM....
SO RIDERS! lets give them COMPETITION right up their ying yang!!
Besides, TRUE EDMONTON FANS will never cheer for those red pansies!! So us Rider fans got them on our side too!! Yay!!!

TRUE Edmonton fans recognize that the CFL season officially ended last week and, really, the Grey Cup should be cancelled because it really doesn't matter!!!!
