| Mt Warning sunrise climb combined with get fit before the climb 13th Sept Posted: 8/4/2008 6:06:07 PM | has everyone got thier climbing buddies sorted?
hmmmm...never thought of that.....So the short answer is no. Won't that just be a concern if the group breaks up?
I know a couple of people from up this way were thinking of car pooling. I was actually thinking of leaving my daughter at home and hitting the mountains on the motorbike on the way down and possibly Sunday on the way back up instead of just going down the highway. Is anyone else from Brissy interested in riding down the hinterland Saturday with a nice early leave. I know Simon will probably ride down with me and if it's just the 2 of us we may even leave Friday afternoon and have a stop over somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
My other concern is I now work for the biggest drag race team in the country and that's the weekend of the start of the season, but I've told them I don't want to go to Sydney for racing as I have other things I need to do. Should be all good at this stage. | |

(Vandy...... must have chocolate) I am happy to start one - but Gyps you may want to post it to the group like you did with the pre-climb meet n greet thingy!!
let me know?

| Mt Warning sunrise climb combined with get fit before the climb 13th Sept Posted: 8/13/2008 4:43:23 AM | Walked this a few times so hope some of you people have a bit of fitness or start nice and early. Last part is the fun bit. Can be quite busy there especially on a Sunday, only so many parking bays. If it's cool and I can bring my daughter I will be there, great way to keep fit. | |

Then back up the highway for lunch. Gotta love a test run...lol
