... Mainey, cant you remember being on your treadmill at 4 am Sat morning? lol
Yes I do remember that but it was more like 3 am and I have also had another memory pop up in my head of you telling me to put music on at that time so I pumped cold chisel to full volume from 3 in the morning till about 430,,, not good for my reputation!!! lol
I will have one of those head lamps Briz, they shouldn't be to expensive.
Why is it that Vandy is getting all the chockies??
Are joggers okay for climbing this mountain?
I have boots but they all involve a high heal,,, not the kind I would climb a mountain in.

| Mt Warning sunrise climb combined with get fit before the climb 13th Sept Posted: 7/6/2008 7:29:34 AM | a screw loose is fine.. they will be in good company... thanks for the ups on that... the head lights are not that $$ costly, shop around tho, sum times in big W they have them or a cmaping store - but you can pay big $$ for sum brands. the blu/fluro?? what eva they call it??? lights are best - gives out a good light... we will all look like cave men/ladies with our little head lights on... lol... what a sight!! | |

| Mt Warning sunrise climb combined with get fit before the climb 13th Sept Posted: 7/7/2008 1:38:01 AM | It looks like BCF is the go for getting a torch. There's one not far from work. I'll try and get around there tomorrow and have a squizz. If you go to their online store, click power and electrical, then electrical, you can see the different lights available. They range from $10 up to about $40 The one fr $22.50 runs for 28 hours.....Damn!!!!
OK, so now I need to find boots....lol

| Mt Warning sunrise climb combined with get fit before the climb 13th Sept Posted: 7/7/2008 5:34:33 PM | OK, I went and had a squizz at BCF. There is also a range of head torches for aroun $100.00, but that's way out of what I wanted to pay. It seems that the Xenon bulb one is the go. They seem to be around the $39.00 range. The plain LED ones will work apparently, but they aren't as bright as the Xenon and they are a more spreadout light. They can be had for around $20.00. This is according to the guy at the store. Looking at what I read I think the $39.00 ones would be what I want. It's a stronger light and more intense. And it's not like we need to ruch out and get one this week.
Looking at Vandy's last post we won't need the hiking boots now...It's a barefoot contest...lol I'm thinking I'll just go with my joggers for now.

| Mt Warning sunrise climb combined with get fit before the climb 13th Sept Posted: 7/7/2008 5:49:33 PM | Oh no I can't go bare foot, I just had my pedicure done............
Couldn't remember the last I went out without shoes on even to the cloths line,(at my place is only 3 steps from the door) and to think as a girl growing up in country NSW I would never put shoes on, I would ride the horses, bikes, chase the live stock all bare foot, how the big city changes us..
