Maybe the child is feeling insecure that mummy has started letting a man sleep in her bed?? Do you think it is appropriate for a man to refuse to put on boxer shorts if his girlfriends child has climbed into the bed then? Surely if you date someone with children you have to accept that there has to be boundaries on all sides? Yes, i would have moved the child back into their own bed and got them settled but surely he should have automatically put his pants back on? Not let a mollycoddled brat interfere in my love life Wouldn't have a love life with someone who called my child a mollycoddled brat anyway.

In my very old fashioned view..............................she is sleeping with someone after only knowing them for three months...........................shoot!!!!!!!!!..........how times have changed, or is that, how time has moved fast That's the problem with this relationship, it's been given no time to develop into anything strong or longlasting...........when children are involved, surely realising you may have something good going on, you sit and discuss how you are going to handle things, so that everyone knows the ground rules and what is expected of each other in the relationship...adults as well as children.............then both adults can present a united front to the children and there is none of this "playing one off against the other".............................just my two old fashioned pence worth..................

I never wear anything in bed, whether I'm with someone or not, but if her young child got into bed with us, it wouldn't be a problem to put my boxers on, and I'd do it discreetly under the sheets. Is it such an unreasonable thing to ask of someone?
