| Buffalo...Pics from June 14 @ Jacobis! Posted: 6/23/2008 4:16:30 AM | | Mackie have you looked in the Mirror lately. I'm the furthest thing from a Queer. And if you think horny Hank is cool I guess you have issues. Maybe you 2 guys need to get together. Maybe he could be your match sorta like your brain and that dog poop on the ground. Hey ladies read his profile, he says he is not in to women who like to go out, he would rather stay home. Guess he can't go out much on a paper boy's income or do you collect bottles for a living. Good luck trying to find someone on here. | |

However, Angel will be making an announcement shortly of where she is going to hold her parties. Last I heard it was going to be Mcroons and Coyote's.
My birthday is Aug. 2nd...the big 32...who wants to have a party for me????

| Buffalo...Pics from June 14 @ Jacobis! Posted: 6/23/2008 12:52:31 PM | | I heard it was because of the sex party and where a fee was charged, is the reasoning for the cancelled parties......pof functions are suppose to be 100% free to enter and leave. The in between is up to the members. Of course this is second hand knowledge to me, I was not there and am not stating this to be fact. :) | |

| Buffalo...Pics from June 14 @ Jacobis! Posted: 6/23/2008 6:59:20 PM | Well I heard the same thing Nona heard about the toy party as a culprit to why the parties were cancelled ......their were 3 such injuries reported to local emergency rooms........One Woman that purchased a toy at the party was seriously injured after she got home......apparently she was trying out her new toy with so much pleasure she fell off her bed and injured her spine........in another case a woman slid off her computer chair and sprained her wrist........at Buffalo General Hospital a woman reportedly showed up with a broken toy and then emergency staffers were summoned to locate the missing piece..........
The moral of the story is .......READ the DIRECTIONS Ladies......and use at your own rish .......LOL

| Buffalo...Pics from June 14 @ Jacobis! Posted: 6/24/2008 3:42:43 AM | After reading a few times, and being told from folks, that events have to be totally free, I decided to look into how accurate this information is. I found an 'official' forum on how to host successful events and found this:
"After recent events, Bigfish (the owner & admin of Plentyoffish) has determined that events that require the host of the event to pay sums of money upfront CAN NOT be advertised on plentyoffish. Events should be the type that ANYONE can step in and host the event without incurring huge personal expenses.
What that means is as a host, you need to find free venues OR venues that charge the user a fee such as a cover charge. For example, lets say a roller rink, if the rink charge users $7 per person that is acceptable but if the host has to pay $500 and then has to try to recover the money from the users that would be unacceptable. The event should be set up so that if you can not fullfill your obligations as a host, anyone else should be able to step in without risking personal financial loss.
This rule can also be applied to food. If a place provides food, guests should order and pay for their own food individually instead of the host ordering a quantity of food and then trying to recover the expenses through extra fees charged by the host. If the venue charges a fee, lets say for a buffet, it is okay to have this as long as the guests pay on a per guest fee.
Under these new rules and expectations, only the venue itself should be charging any fee. (because there will be no need for hosts to recover any monies). No one but the venue should be asking for any money - period. That goes for cash donations, draws, 50/50's, etc."
I know I had talked with a few folks who, like I was, were wondering how things like a moonlight cruise ans such could be official POF events. Now I know and thought I'd share so we all have the facts.
