Ok ! Lets face it Edmonton has a pretty good team....Ricky is no couch potatoe!
And it appears on any given day ANY Team in this whole league is quite capable of beating another team.....
....well except maybe Toronto beating B.C.....and the plays, the luck and referees seem to lean B.C.'s way right now
And do I hear any whimpers comin from a corner where a particular sherriff cowers from the defeat of a fluck of "larks". Maybe the fluck was more concerned with migrating south than playing football! Holy fluck! Who would have thought?
Now Bomber fans, those Blue Boys should- would -coulda WON! Frankly, I get on mysoap box of Coaching Inefficiency.....MaKaKa Roacha...(the coach of Edmonton) made adjustments that Berry's "jam"(assistants) boys could not or just were not capable of responding to.
Suddenly and dramatically, the defensive line kept attacking at points where Ray was not throwing from.....they needed to adjust their lanes of attack....and being a Rider fan, I have to blame the ref's as well....YOU CAN"T tell me that the Edmonton O'line wasn't getting away with holding! ALOT!!
And do the Bomber Coaches not have any idea how adjust their Defensive Backs to play against short, quick dump passes?
And whats with the Bomber Offence, late in the game taking their time like they had tons of it....huddling before each play.....I mean someone needs to go out and give Glenn a kick at that time to remind him they still have a chance to win ...hurry up and get a touch down!!!
Mind you I have seen it with every team at some point this year.....they get up by a couple of touchdowns easily and somehow, somewhere, someone says "lets just coast and go home".....and then they end up losing!
But don't give up hope.....The Bombers'goal was to minimally split wins with Edmonton and then next week go up against Toronto and beat Shite out of them....
In the long run....it is a must win.....and frankly it should come down to this!! If the Bombers cannot beat Toronto at this stage , they probably do not deserve to be in the Play-offs.
And how does an O'line that run-blocks for a 1 1/4 games suddenly become incapable of throwing blocks for their runners ....???
Edmonton gets a kick off return for touchdown??? Give me break! How the hell are the refs going to explain a clear push in the back of Bomber attacker that shows on every high light just as the runner catches the ball? Mind you after that it was a good run.
What hurts and pees me and probably many of you out there is that Bare-and-eats-chia-Pets got away with his dirty hit.....I really wanted the Bombers to cleanly win and show those buggers up!! | |

This thing of giving up points, in the last half of the game cost them one game, already, and nearly another game, against the inuit or igloo people.
And NOW, this game against Argos, that Bombers barely won.
The boys in Blue and Gold, had better get their S H I T together, alright, and start winning games a lot more decisively then they have been, rather then grabbing a huge lead, and then to JUST hold on to WIN.

Let's see IF, Bombers can NOW, pick it up from here now, and carry the ball, the rest of the way, through the rest of the season, by WINNING their remaining games in the season, in the playoffs, and maybe, JUST maybe, represent the EAST in the Grey Cup, and WIN the Grey Cup it's self, just as long as Bombers keep their heads together and about themselves from here on in.

The Coach in Montreal is an idiot.......I apparently don't have to worry about offending any Alouetta Fans because they have obviously skulked away as they do when they get spanked.
But why idiots? They played Cavillo ALL GAME!
And yet they made decisions that lost them the game which they normally would not have made had they really needed a win. So they put their key player at risk and "hand over" the win to the Bombers.
Maybe they have a crystal ball that tells them that they are the only team in the CFL this year who can go all the way to winning the Grey Cup without needing a back up Quarterback with some play time
......look to them playing their back ups in 3 of 4 quarters this next game they play.
The Bombers,however, did deserve to win yesterday(taking away a few mistakes). They showed some very bright spots of coming together . Especially on defence. They have depth at Quaterback.....and I think any of you Bomber fans that want to keep criticizing Glenn need to get on another band wagon. The Bombers have depth .....its all good.
BUT!!!! They still are making mental mistakes.....little things that make big differences.....Hufnagl reined in his Calgary players from similar problems early in the season to push his team to the top this year....Berry is STILL NOT DOING IT!! And his backing of an immature kicker who performs great in practice but cannot take the pressure during a game is killing this team....not only in points but in spirit.
How the hell is Serna going to handle the pressure of two play-off games let alone the Grey Cup?? Someone please beseech Westwood to pull his pins out of his Berry and Serna Quiji Dolls!!
The Bombers play like they did on Sunday......CONSISTENTLY......for the next 3 Games (excluding the practice game next week) .....and WITHOUT THE MISTAKES.....they then will become the NEXT GREY CUP CHAMPS!!
Its really that simple.....CLEAN UP MISTAKES!...CONSISTENCY....PLAY AS THEY HAVE SHOWN THEY CAN.......end result GREY CUP!!

Bombers finish 2nd in the East ....cheer!! Congrats on finishing the regular season on a winning note....Edmonton may not be as happy as they thought they would be by going into the cross over.....The Bombers are a better team than their season record shows....if I was Berry I would remind the players that they could hardly ever expect in their playing careers THIS CLOSE to going to Grey Cup.....not an easy task but both Montreal and Edmonton are VERY beatable.
(footnote: Isn't Serna the BEST?? Berry is such a genius for sticking with him all this time....I think someone should pin a medal on Berry .....he has finally shown that Westwood was a "has been" and deserved to be booted to the curb!!...Yepee! Yahoo! ...

Saskatchewan finishes 2nd in the West! Frankly I am still in pleasant shock.....I truly thin they deserved it more than B.C. However, even if they can lay B.C. and Wally (BONER ) Guano on their back....they can only hope that Calgary Stamps comesout FLAT in two weeks.....but Huffy....ain't no rooky to playoff football....Hell! He was in part responsible for winning the Riders a Grey Cup! Frankly, the way I saw their Back-up Q'backs wipe the field today with Lion carcasses.....they are a bit frightening!! BUT they too are beatable!!
Another Bomber / Rider Grey Cup? Well stranger things could occur but most them went by already at Halloween!

It seems like Berry, has FINALLY, settled down, and so has Bombers, NOW, Bombers could very well be, Grey Cup Contenders, from the East Division.
The Eskimos, are VERY VULNEABLE, and they CAN, be HAD, and so can the Birdeeeeeeeeeeez, be had as well, at Molson Stadium, and Bombers PROVED that, last week, when they beat the Birdeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, not by much, but, it is a one pointer, and THAT, is ALL you need to WIN a game, is one point.
The thing for Bombers to do now, is is prepare, prepare, and prepare, and keep the pedal to the metal, and NEVER, EVER let up, but, take it one game at a time, and if they can BLAST the living CRAP out of the Eskimos, hten Bombers can BUILD on that, to prepare fr the Birdeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, early departure.
As for the Riders, hey, bro, they to are going strong as well. all they have to do, is play heads up football, nose to the grindstone, and prepare well, for both the Lions and Stamps, because, BOTH of them CAN be HAD as well.
Let's keep our fingers crossed, that our repective teams, the Riders and Bombers, fuel up NOW, and prepare well, for and to beat their respective opponants, of the Liond, Stamps, Eskimos, and Birdeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, so, that we can have a "Banjo Bowl ii Grey Cup, between Riders and Bombers, once again.
Both Riders and Bombers have got a chance, BUT, they have to stay FOCUSED, FOCUSED, and FOCUSED, to beable to meet once again, in the Grey Cup.
And maybe, JUST MAYBE, when they do, they could rename the Grey Cup to the Banjo Bowl Cup, instead.
As for Serena, well, I will give the young lad credit, for his accomplishments, he has done really well, and I hope that he continues, to do so, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, he just MIGHT, become the NEW, YOUNG, Troy Westwood, in Troys place.
However, tho, I still like Troy, and despite some of his troubled times, Troy WAS good with Bombers, HE, did a lot of good things for Bombers, but, BUT, I still DO NOT, like the way, Berry handled things with Troy's departure.
TROY, STILL deserves better MUCH better then that. However, let's just hope that Serena, can come through in the clutch plays, in the PLAYOFFSm as he DID, in the regular season.

I may not like Berry as a coach, and I may not think a lot about the bomber office, but the players are doing well. I enjoyed the last game. It was nice seeing the bombers play with many of their players, not only the first string. There is a lot of talent on the roster and a good coach will utilize all the resources of the team. Can they go all the way................that would depend on their desire to win, and how well all the players can be utilized. I think it was smart to play Glenn for a while and then let the other QB take over. I enjoy watching all the players do more than warm the bench. | |

The best thing that Berry can do now, is just be a good, supportive coach, and let his PLAYERS, play the game, that they KNOW, how to play, and let his players settle game they best way, THEY KNOW HOW TO.
Not take ANY STUPID penalties, that could cost them a game, and for heaven sakes, to stay
healthy, and not get injured. It appears to be, that Bombers are back at FULL POWER, with ALL their players coming back.
Yes, it was a VERY smart move to pull Glenn, and let him rest, after Bombers got that HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE lead, but, also to allow the new guys to play, and get some playing time at QB, to allow the new guys, to showcase their talents. Down the road, Bombers are going to NEED, a healthy Kevin Glenn because, Glenn, is still going to be the KEY QB, that Bombers are going to need to call upon, to get the job DONE, at QB.
About Berry again, I have to take my hat off to him, and give him full credit tho, for giving his kicker a vote of confidence, that Berry BELIEVES in him. That is MUCH MORE like it, by Berry, rather then being the TYRANT, and the COACH FROM
