smartnfoxy46 that seems unfair. he asks , he pays. you ask, its dutch. What happened to asker pays?

Anyways fifi47 those southern men want those southern belles and expect them to always be dressed as such. Women must be kidding themselves if they expect things come for free when dating those men. These men often times demand she wears skirts in the winter and lingrie at home. You can forget about pants and sweats. I know quite a few men like this.

Having just been taken very much advantage by no less than a almost, wanna be millionaire, in my opinion, and we all have them, when I am asked out, the man that ask me out, from this day forward will pay for the date, and I WILL make that perfectly clear when he ask me out. If he does not want to pay the tab, then he will not be taking me out!!!!!!!! Simple as that.

So because one guy "took advantage of you" every guy you date has to pay for his mistake? I hope you don't project other traits of this man onto potential partners. Some men might be willing to put up with the 'I don't ever pay', thing but not the other BS that comes with someone who has been hurt badly and won't deal with it.

Some women 'wear skirts in the winter and lingerie at home all the time' anyway.

Even when there is no man in our lives.

Yes - That's me, I take a pride in my appearance at all times. Do you like pants and sweats then?

Now if I ask a man out, which I am an 80's, 90's lady, I still have a hard time asking men out, I would help pay, offer to meet half way, I would do my part,

I agree with you, that a man should pay if he asks you out, but this whole attitude of "i will HELP pay if I ask him out....

so he asks you out he HAS to pay, you ask him out its dutch?.....

that makes sense...

I dont even own a pair of sweats, they are completely depressing attire.

I do wear yoga pants to the gym. I wear running shorts when I jog. I wear sportswear for sports.

I wear leather in the moshpit and linen to the symphony.

This really has little to do with the type of men I like to date.

It's very simple really, people should date other people that they are compatible with.

Tlk2usoon...wow. Bring on the Pepcid...I regurgitated my lunch reading your post.

A "man of men?" Is this the same thing as a "man's man?" Because I find I am drawn to the "man's man" sort of men...and not a single one of them would be content with this sort of scenario that you described.

I hate to be the one to bring you into reality, but women build roads & bridges, do heavy lifting, repair cars, become plumbers, electricians, doctors, lawyers, etc...and guess what?! There are male nurses, childcare workers, servers, etc too! Wow!

I am a very visual person, and when reading your post, I cannot help but envision a woman covered from the tip of her head to her little toes...her eyes barely showing through the garb she must wear...walking behind her husband/never next to, and quite honestly...just not OUT in public to have to worry about who is paying for what?!

I salute men as well...I love men! I just don't worship them.

I wear sexy lingerie just cause I like it and am feminine, might wear a different kind when a man is involved, and I am not into yoga pants except when cleaning house or not going anywhere. The attitude of he asks you out he pays, you ask him out its dutch is weird to me too, if I ask him out, I pay for both, which I have been known to do and have no problem with doing. Dating gets expensive, no reason for the man to be responsible for all of it.

Message: This is just my opinion only but if this was a first date, you asked her out, didn't discuss ahead who was paying for what, and then asked her if she wanted another one, in my opinion you are buying.

_______________________________________________________________

This is a good idea - I have been caught out so many times by free loading men, I am now thinking I should discuss who is paying first. And OP I am like you, the ones who dont put their hand in their pocket for at least half the deal, bye bye.

Had one who flashed a few grand around in the bar, paid his way there, then when it came to paying for something later on he literally sulked about spending £6.80 (about $14) his half of an entry fee, spoiled the whole day for me. Oh yes, why was I so put out, it was my birthday and he knew it, I just thought he was selfish and not for me. N E X T

If she's quite unattractive, it might be to her advantage to buy several rounds.

Miss Preta to you Mr broncsbuff

I am sure that the dates will come flooding in ... sarcasm accepted.

... completely off at a tangent as usual. Are you suggesting that these women shouldn't be treated as a romantic partner because of what they choose to do for a living? How patronising.

Well I dunno HOW you arrived at that conclusion?! The post in which I was referring to...she was talking about men doing these things as if the world would not function without such...but I was stating that we women do those things, as well.

Talk about a tangent! Do you seek out my posts to see how you can dispute or bemoan them?

She doesn't worship them either. She's just builds them up so they can pay.

Read what that other woman wrote. She said its a man's world because they do all that.
Most doctors are women anyways (58%). Too bad they don't wear skirts and nylons lol.

Are you suggesting that men shouldn't be treated as a romantic partner because of their gender?

The world could function without either gender. It won't prosper though.

Btw what exactly is defined as man's man. Wouldn't that make him gay if he is someone else's man ? LOL.

No! woman should ever buy any drink ,first date second date third date, not on any date! Even on a date mentioned or requested by her...
In fact , he should on the first date , open all doors, pull out the chairs, sit when she sits and arises when she arises.
in fact he should also make sure hes got those beautiful flowers behind his back as he greats her
he should also expalin before hand what might be appropate ....? to wear for this occasion..

Yes and a woman should have nothing but privileges.

and i go for daddy more bucks ......hes wearing the pants and confident in his decissions .......and knows what true value is

Think you confused true value with net worth.

its the joy of seeing ones smile.... whether he knows them or not..... its about making another feel better in everyway.......

One way road.

A man will even hold your purse for you ..... he will indeed give you his coat or suit if you are cold.....and he will also help you remove your coat. these days are not gone...

A lady wouldn't make a man hold a purse. Yeah i will give her my coat but my head is coddled on her chest lol. I thought women babied men. Isn't that the stereotype of man flu?

he woman is not your slave , you get up off yourself and offer to
get her something to drink honey... and while your up dear ...

Those men you speak of who like to pay expect the woman to get up and get the drinks. He'll pay but she gets up. Surely you've read those 1950's home ec books. They'll also expect you to go to the store. If he pays you basically should be his slave. so yes the woman is a slave in that case.

Do you purposely try to come off as uneducated?

i willl.... always pay for... thing becase man I am... to be more power with it to be
then to love I will be for her always on the first date second date five date pay for it to see her smilles and happieness together forever

maybe but its really what you can do to make the other smile. not one way

There's a pot for every lid.
Presumably there just might be a wealthy submissive man out there looking for exactly that.

Does kind of boggle my mind just a bit tho'

Too bad she's not a man. There's more wealthy submissive women than wealthy submissive men willing to indulge in financial slavery. But she said she wants a strong man. A submissive would require emotional support not be able to give it.
