| The Moon Posted: 7/12/2008 6:05:46 PM | on the beach in land afar the moon does not hold sway it really shines like a star here in the shadows of the cay in the sand my stories written by each and every tiny grain but by Luna I am smitten as the beams fall down like rain often intrigued by what is in it a man,or just craters and dusty rock but no matter how spinnin' is it it has crazy power to unlock our endless fascination | |
|
| The Moon Posted: 7/12/2008 8:21:58 PM | Erik your Moonstruck Madness is as funny as ever...
fissionmission it does hold an endless facination but who is to say the moon is masculine and not feminine?

| The Moon Posted: 7/13/2008 11:54:10 AM | Sunoir I have never felt such darkness Within the grasp of a moonlit night She is the gift of thought A candle in the darkness Imagination of a soul in need Awakening our love of all things passed A trail yet to be discovered Her passage is the calming touch Upon a troubled mind She tickles the darkness out of our heads Awakening the seeds that lie dormant Of all that is yet to be felt The heart of night Beating inside our own yearnings. | |

| The Moon Posted: 7/18/2008 6:31:35 PM | when the moon disturbed my slumber,it shone like aspotlights beam it was right outside my window, yet in the middle of my dream it was something about my future,I couldn't quite recall at first my thoughts were fleeting,as I floated down the hall the moon gave me it's greeting, high above it all As I sailed over streams and darkened wood what then was my fear as flying felt so good indeed my worries and cares lightened, the calm view aided in my flight still I kept on flying thru the middle of the night but my power quickly weakened and I started to fall when such as this ,was it just a dream after all? | |

| The Moon Posted: 7/19/2008 1:27:10 AM | as it were life was difficult... lost once again I lay from my perch, with you, splayed over me
words, prayers sent up to you for direction, solace and....
silence
this ... your lusty response
how rich this enigma that has spoken for years to so many, for so long without tongue yet for me..... nothing
you, our celestial sphinx our minor goddess...
and I yet another beseeching
through those answerless nights burning with silver fever waxing romantic I cursed your response but in time learned
what you shone to mine mind then nary compares to what you shine in my soul now
|
| The Moon Posted: 7/19/2008 6:40:12 AM | shining there so like you singularly bright offering all sweet respite from too much darkness constant companion to stars .... and us in this phase you still will exert your same magic pull we will keep our eyes skyward for your return
autumn, thanks for your support and understanding.... take this time to have fun and find the peace you seek...... we SHALL meet under a new moon.

| The Moon Posted: 7/19/2008 6:50:21 AM | She was so proud to have learned the phases of the moon in Mrs. Mann's PM kindergarten
I remember one morning she said she wanted to see what phase the moon would be that night so I hatched an idea to howl at the moon no matter what the phase.
Absorbed in American Idol the four of us nearly forgot. So outside we went dressed in our jammies running outside to howl at the moon who appeared to be hiding in the low hanging clouds. We ran down the sidewalk playing it's game of hide 'n seek we searched behind the trees and houses above the clouds and below. We even called olly olly oxen free. But the moon would not come out of hiding. Heads hanging low we headed back home.
Above our street a light shined bright I giggled and said let's pretend this is the moon instead On the count of 3 I saw the smiles looking back at me...
one-two-THREE! ow ow OWWWWWW!!! We then ran like kids who were playing ding, dong, ditch afraid of getting caught. Laughing at our silliness.
I swear that night I heard a giggle from good ole Aiken Drum.

| The Moon Posted: 7/19/2008 7:04:38 AM | g' morning moon
whispering... her brilliance gently fades as she quietly slips ...away ......into the brilliant night of a different place and time ~r~
|
| The Moon Posted: 8/6/2008 3:22:49 AM | born by chance, testament of afterthought of celestial passions glorious violence inevitable collisions......and universal law
scars you bear of those days....leftovers of survival.....grace
sometimes wet, sometimes blue, in a Harvest, blood or new crescent, half, fairy, black full and rising waxing wisely
phasing seasons, love, treasons timeless truths, lies, reasons
what's yours has been mine histories entwinded now your dust ... now cell memory...now silver echo's mysterious ..... fine
and .... I, as you ... as kin still shine

| The Moon Posted: 8/8/2008 1:54:36 PM | To promise the moon is a thing ,one but all the stars too she was joyful when bathed in moon beams but quite sad in full sun I'll never comprehend her daydreams but now I know why she only danced at night her paleness dazzling in moon and starlight | |

| The Moon Posted: 8/8/2008 7:23:52 PM | The Artemis Of Eustis
As days last golden rays, escape behind far off peaks, And evenings chorus strikes up their familiar tunes I know, yet again, without the one my heart seeks Sky so black, losing myself near friendly Neptunes moons

| The Moon Posted: 8/20/2008 4:18:29 AM | I dare to ask for Hollywood But that would never satisfy the likes of me I struggle for the nobel prize It’s alright even in a feeling
I’ve done wrong against humanity Should I ever receive the gift I’d return for a new set of saucepans I’m excellent at throwing frying pans The danger is anticipating my heart …wild heart…
I listen to all the songs They send the thorns Blame it on me for demanding more Impossible to follow My love is stronger than you know
Moonlight has shades I’m wearing mine Somehow I get by in your eclipse I struggled to refrain on a full moon Feeling the daggers in my back Your voice closes the door
I see a full moon always Dreaming in colour I told you last night When the rain falls reminding me How much I miss my siblings xxx

| The Moon Posted: 8/22/2008 1:12:28 AM | The Moon
Dark velvet sky, Suspended silver stars, Bright yellow moon.
Garden bathed in natural light, Playing fountain splashing water, Sound of croaking frogs.
Moon disappears behind a cloud, Momentary darkness descends on all, Rapid change - a quick transformation.
The moon reappears, Lovely garden is visible, Fountain and frogs are viewable.
A rooster crows, A fox listens intently, Then returns to its lair.
The moon shines on, Throughout the night, Vanishing before daylight.

| The Moon Posted: 9/22/2008 8:42:11 PM | I got a book from the library Knowing it was good I’d heard of the author before I set myself up A chair No man built me lounge…yet A glass of wine In the afternoon sun I was disappointed I finished reading the book Before the sun went down Then I watched in loneliness I must always remember to reflect I still miss the man who Promises me a rocking chair As the stars keep me company
It’s foolish I know For the sun has NOT set Fiercely I gaze for I know a moon IS about to awake Not matter the state Only goes to sleep when we have to awake Then I adore it For it’s a promise of what comes tonight *wink*
