She could'nt see under the flour She could'nt guess under the loose Oversized gown. She left you for a Harlequin !
Take your mandolin Sit on half a moon For she knows you And loves you.
For she will always be here.

| The Moon Posted: 5/14/2009 2:59:10 PM | For she will always be here
Leave no stone unturned Know the shortest trip maybe the longest ride His eyes searched the sky Stars emerse his thought but that night Pulse racing, heart pounding hands trembling He watched as she in moonlight glow sat windows edge Dreamy eyed as she felt the call of the moon She smiled to herself as did he, he rolled to slumber Time went so fast but he remembered that night When the moon caught her eye When in the night every now and again he see`s Realizing it was just her sillotte cast by the street lights glow He rolled to slumber knowing she will be his moarning sun They both smile, him in present her from above

| The Moon Posted: 5/14/2009 8:47:58 PM | Moonwalk
Walking from here to there, In the moonlight I felt a stare.. A song keeps coming to me, Some kind of a thriller That makes me shiver.. Side stepping and moonwalking As i see in my mind Billie Jean.. I think to myself.. Was does it all mean? Having no answer.. My feet start to dance.. Must be him moonwalking..

| The Moon Posted: 5/14/2009 9:40:01 PM | | Welcome Karmarhine your poem was kind of sad and touched me. Rebel, Hummingbird and Shudden thank you for leaving us your vision. I have been busy and not poetic lately but I still do read and I think it's great how many different angles you can take the moon. | |

| The Moon Posted: 5/16/2009 7:33:53 AM | he taught me to love the hope of the new moon and to mourn her fullest glow | |
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/16/2009 7:51:39 AM | he taught me to love ,the lessons I learned
to hope and to dream and mourn her fullest glow
the hope of a new moon and every phase it has turned
the hope of a new moon longing to know
why it keeps me awake
is it Luna or wondering for wonderings sake *(i felt the need to add to your lines hope you don't mind)

| The Moon Posted: 5/17/2009 2:39:45 AM | Thank you , Autumn ; I am thrilled if I could touch you with my words. As a " real Gemini " , I prefer to focus on my bright side in every day's life . And though I couldn't manage yet to find enough time to read all your poems I am deeply impressed by , and gratefull for what you offer . It's raining here ; we will not see the moon tonight but imagination is a generous mother , isn't she ?
Tsuki
Tonight , the moon hangs as a huge ancient pearl So near ! yet too far from my bed. She lets me grasp Her mysterious nakedness , her deserts , her craters, Pregnant of soft glow . She is family heirloom . Given to the one who will shine under her spell . She will adorn queens , odalisques or servants ; For , on women's skin , a pearl never says a lie.
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/17/2009 5:25:06 AM | | "To mourn her fullest glow" I'm curious Rose why mourn? Fission it is sort of like first/last if someone inspires you why not go for it. karmarhine I would be interested to know why on a woman's skin, a pearl ever says a lie? That is suppose to be my gemstone and I wear it so rarely. | |
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/17/2009 7:51:33 AM | autumn...am looking at everything differently nowadays....
mourning her fullest glow in her next breath she wanes into darkness once becoming new again she waxes into brilliance
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/17/2009 8:15:11 AM | life, in her cosmic flow, makes no decisions, she simply flows without thought. my life is open to her flow into and through me. she brings me times to mourn, to celebrate, to stare thughtlessly into the forest that reaches from me & my home up the mountain above rosario strait. life is the surrounding sea and i am one of her waves nearing an island beach. | |

| The Moon Posted: 5/17/2009 2:59:04 PM | Autumn , In Japan , women attend funerals in " black and pearls " and I have observed on many occasions how , some ladies that I know personally , could be totally transformed , embellished , when they wear a pearl necklace and earrings. Whereas other ladies, that I also know personally ( I am one of them ) and whose pearls are real, do not seem to be influenced by the gem . You gave me a new challenge and I am going to research . But I suppose the same applies to other gems , colours , fabrics etc....
Good night , Lady , I wish you a pearly moon !
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/17/2009 8:27:16 PM | Transformed in what way karmarhine? I have heard that wearing some gems is bad luck to some people. The only influence you need is to feel good about yourself.
Rose thank you for the new poem. It's strange I never felt a sense of mourning looking at the moon. I can see how it might have been feared by those who didn't have any basis of understanding of what it is. To me - I feel complete, serene and romantically youthful. Thank you Liptofu that was lovely.

| The Moon Posted: 5/17/2009 9:12:01 PM | Pearl Heart ~
A heart of night skies lets us lay in wonder Our held dreams this love blanket we slumber Seen our skies reflection laid within our eyes Of such heart we fall in of a comfort prized

| The Moon Posted: 5/18/2009 4:40:02 AM | Yes, Autumn , the most important thing is to feel good with oneself. However, as women who use rouge to enhance the shape of our lips , we (at least , I ) would gratefully welcome sometimes another little plus : for instance the glamour some lucky women seem to benefit from pearls. that's what I meant by " transformation " . Until this morning I was unaware that pearls could be called gems and ignored they were connected to you zodiac sign. I just enjoyed last night the creation of a poem for your thread without thinking of passing any kind of information. I don't know if stones can be malefic, as I am not an expert . I have been wearing all sorts of things ; so far could I survive them all; or so it seems. I wish I could have given you better answers . Wear your pearls more often and see what happens . Karmarhine | |

| The Moon Posted: 5/18/2009 11:27:51 PM | The only pearl that I dawn in the night Is the translucent rapture of the moon As she peeks unabashed into my window Her fingers entwined in my hair As a loving mother Or guardian of all that rests secretly Inside my mind Her key alone unlocks the parables Of a curious heart She demands nothing of the restless tides Flowing through my veins For she is the pantomime Painting the pictures of freedom of thought A pale gentle flower A gardenia blooming in a sea of stars She will never be alone in the vastness Of nature’s garden As long as I live and breathe She alone will guide my spirit Unto infinity. | |
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/23/2009 3:46:21 PM | Once upon a time neath a sky so blue when I took a space to rhyme the gentle breezes blew I danced in moonbeams only after the sunset swirled about me, my dreams the kind that you tend not to forget I had my own autumn fantasy come dance with me | |
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/23/2009 8:45:25 PM | Lonely As I walk the moonlike path Even if you are by me I am alone.. In the moonlite stars shine But not in your eyes.. I have stars in mine.. You don't see me This internet game has caught you.. The full moon calls out to me.. Like the wolf howling his mate.. I am alone.. My cry is from my soul. But you can't see me Oh full moon give me freedom Of thoughts,of wisdom Grandfather I becon you.. Come take my soul For I am alone.. | |
|
| The Moon Posted: 5/24/2009 1:40:29 AM | a fire opal shimmers with the moon's glow while within colours dance upon the wind a fiery substance rich and transforming sparkling and radiating like the sun warming....
so both are real when i wear opal the heavenly radiance and beautiful essence of both moon and sun are revealed helping me be calm and also fiery helping me balance my energy.....

| The Moon Posted: 5/24/2009 9:21:58 AM | | Thank you everyone who took the time to post. I have read that there is no correlation between a full moon and a change in behavior. More evidence has been found to substantiate the effects of a new moon on crime and accidents. We wish things into being with our imagination and yearnings. | |

| The Moon Posted: 5/25/2009 7:19:32 AM | I’ve spent many hours driving Guided by the moon A few nights ago it summoned me Promising the greatest swing
Many dream upon a full moon I would have been content On the crescent; but I have His arms always around me
Now I travel For and ever more Always towards home Sheltered is the amazing charm
