| Ladies figures Posted: 6/18/2008 9:06:26 PM | given that we are discussing the golden mean..I also have to admit to having a preference for all things in proportion for aesthectic reasons..I like men with snake-like hips and broad shoulders...the adonis effect... and men who are at least 5'10" in height...obviously if said man is lacking in height and proportions I will still fancy him if he has long hair.(I'm joking..I think the vanity required to have the compulsion to adorn yourself with extensive locks is ridiculous as a man is a complete turn off..call me delilah if you like).........or even an ability to make me laugh.
Having a giraffe is so sexually thrilling..
On Topic....my physique is uniformly within the scale of must have proportions to be considered attractive ..but even moreso..cos I am so pretty.
BTW...for the benefit of the fatties who have slated thinner women on this thread by saying they are unattractive..I think skinny/slender/lithe/etc. equals neatness and tidiness plus superior elegance. ...twiggy was gorgeous as was Audrey Hepburn..and I am disgusted by the typically easily offended lard arses on here thinking it's ok to claim that if you are thin/skeletal it means a man will never be attracted to you ..because the same women would report thin women for suggesting the opposite..so wrong !! Personality is not about being a curvaceously jolly type but about someone who wants to be healthy ..and having a personality which imbues pursuing a healthy lifestyle and not waiting for a heart attack to put them out of their misery.......since when did women who aren't fat become devoid of a personality..?
An age old adage..is..you can never be too rich or too thin..a little bit of weight is no bad thing but I'm sorry being more than 2 stone overweight is ugly and aging...thinner women who are in proportion are very attractive and much younger looking.
To the lady/girl who says that men take one look at her and say they'd be afraid they'd break you...most men say that even to the more portly amongst us...they do that to persuade us to feel feminine....my wee girl used to be as thin as a rake - I was oft accused of starving her - the child/woman eats like a horse and has inherited her dad's metabolism - he that was nicknamed 'matchstick' and had said about him that if he stood sideways he'd slip through the slits in the thingy's (..drainpipes ?). Now that she's hit puberty she's managed to look very womanly but prior to her developing those curves she was known for being very wiry..and strong and she is an amazing and talented rock climber.
Personally I think women look great when their weight is age appropriate. Youth to me is represented by slimness - flat stomachs, tight buns, a chiselled jawline...maturity is about being in your prime, having a little bit of extra weight..evidence that you've lived a good life and are comfortable with who you are..

| Ladies figures Posted: 6/19/2008 12:13:02 AM | I dont understand where this sudden backlash against so called "fatties" has come from, i have only seen ONE comment on here where someone took the OPs thread in the wrong way actually, ah well such is life
I think that proportion is probably a good thing regardless of size, if you have gargantuan breasts and a 16 inch waist (like barbie would have if she were real) it would look odd, similarly a very very fat bottom with a completely flat chest looks equally strange.
I have no doubt at all that i wouldn't be of the ratio mentioned by the OP.
Who cares! Hurrah!

| Ladies figures Posted: 6/19/2008 1:16:14 AM | I seem to remember at one point, the proportionate woman had a waist 10" smaller than hips. Whilst I might not be the slimmest girl, I'm in proportion, so go in and out in the right places.
And to the woman who said weight ages you, I disagree. When women lose a lot of weight (see programmes such as 10 years younger), the loose skin around the face looks like wrinkles and they look years older than their "fat" photos. Why on earth would cosmetic giants be making a fortune "plumping up" skin with their creams otherwise? Kit-kat botox seems to work for me.. I get a lot of folk saying I look younger than 44.

It may not always be from males I particularly want attention from though
I look at women with perfect bodies sometimes and think - "god just think of the trouble I could get in with a body like that"
but then as friends remind me - I get in enough trouble with the one I've got
